On November 8, 1996, KROD dropped the show, claiming they couldn't agree on a new contract. That is debatable, since KROD is owned by Evergreen Media & Scott Ginsberg, the same folks who dropped Howard in Chicago.
After being bounced from KAMZ-FM, Howard's show landed on KROD. Currently the show is in 8th place with 4.3 share, 12+.
