The company was founded in 1957 under the name Weld-Equip. Since 1995, UNITEK EAPRO is part of Miyachi Unitek Corporation, a worldwide leader and manufacturer of precision joining Equipment and Systems.

Since that time, the sales network for its Electronic Assembly Systems divisions has expanded around the globe.

In 2001 the name was changed into Unitek EAPRO  (which stands for Electronic Assembly Products) offering a broad range of Joining Equipment and Systems Solutions to the Electronics, Electrical and Precision Mechanics Industries.

UNITEK EAPRO is located at the heart of a European web for precision joining technology. Headquarters are in the Netherlands in Helmond, close to the city of Eindhoven, sales offices are located in France and Hungary. Agents / Distributors are located in many industrial centers in- and outside Europe.
