» City Manager's Message and Weekly Report
The City of Pinole was incorporated on June 25, 1903 as a General Law city that functions under a Council-Manager form of government. Approximately 95 full-time and 50 part-time employees are currently employed by the City and the Redevelopment Agency (scheduled to terminate in 2017). City offices are currently located in the city's new city hall, which was completed in June 1998, and the adjacent Public Safety Building.
Pinole believes in maintaining high standards, which encompass good, and increasing property values, proper utilization and maintenance of land, and examplary services for all Citizens. We encourage and strive for cooperation and a productive working relationship with citizens, our employees, schools, service organizations, and the business community.
