Peel Park

The University's main campus is centred around Peel Park which was the world's first public park when it was opened in 1846! The leafy park with floral features is open to the public and to students/staff at the University. It has a football pitch and an equipped children playground and it is part of the Irwell Valley sculpture trail. Salford Museum and Art Gallery which is at the top of the Park will take you back to the Victorian Salford and let you admire the paintings, pottery and fine art at leisure.
