Parking Information
The two closest visitor parking lots are located on North Ave across from the Administration bldg. (Burge Parking Deck) and on Ferst Dr. adjacent to the Student Center [Note: The cost for parking is $.50 per half hour or $8 per calendar day.]
Directions to the Visitor Parking Lots:
From I-75/I-85 Southbound, take the North Ave. exit and turn right on North Ave. Go straight thru the light at Techwood Dr.. You have 2 choices, you can: (1) take a left onto Fowler St. (just past the Alumni faculty house) and an immediate right into the Burge parking deck, or (2) continue on North one block and turn right on Cherry St, then a left onto Ferst Dr. and about three blocks up turn right into the visitor parking lot just past the large "A-frame" covered bus stop.
From I-75/I-85 Northbound, take the 10th Street/14th Street/Georgia Tech exit. Turn left onto 10th Street. Take a left onto Fowler St. and continue on Fowler to Fith(Ferst) St. Turn left on Fith. One block down, turn right on Techwood Dr. and follow Techwood to North Ave. Turn right on North and refer to directions above.
Walking Directions from the Visitor Parking Lots to the College of Sciences Office in the Administration (or Tech Tower) Building
From the Burge Parking Deck, use the crosswalk at street level or the bridge from the upper levels to cross North Ave and follow the diagonal sidewalk to the steps and up to the front door. Take the elevator or stairs - we're on the second floor, suite 202.
From the Student Center Visitor parking lot, Use the sidewalk on Ferst, heading back to Cherry St. Enter the side doors of the Admin/Tech Tower bldg. Use the elevator or stairs - we're on the second floor, suite 202.
Directions for Deliveries to the College of Sciences offices
• Drive west on North Avenue toward Georgia Tech and the Coca-Cola Company complex.
• Cross over 75/85. At the intersection of Techwood Drive, turn right (there is a stoplight at this intersection).
• At the next intersection (also a stoplight) turn left onto Bobby Dodd Way.
• Go up the hill and turn left onto Power Plant Drive.
• Park in area designated for deliveries at top of hill.
• The Tech Tower is south of the parking area. Look for Junior's Grill (neon sign in window).
• Enter building in door closest to Junior's and the FedEX drop-off box on sidewalk.
•Walk straight down hallway past vending machines to elevator on left. We're on the 2 nd floor, room 202.
