INTRAMURAL PROGRAM
I. OBJECTIVES

A. To inculcate among the students the formation and integration of values inherent in sports such as:
 self-discipline
 cooperation
 self-respect
 respect for others, teammates, officials and opponents
 fair play
 sportsmanship
 proper care for the equipment

B. To provide wholesome sports activities that will enhance the physical, mental, emotional, social and moral development of the students.

C. To offer the students opportunity to apply the theories, skills and strategies learned in their Physical Education classes.

II. MECHANICS

A. Selection and Formation of Team
1. The students are grouped according to their motor skills.  (Group A, B, C and D)
   

   Group A – beginners-students with undeveloped skills

   Group B – intermediate – students with average skills
  

    Group C and Group D – students with advanced skills

2. Each group/team is composed of 12 players or less.

3. Selection of players is handled by the sport beadle with the assistance of the assistant sports beadle.  This is done before or during the intrams orientation week.

B. A point system is used to determine the winners of the competitions.

C. The P.E teachers acts as tournament directors.

D. Selected students officiate the games.
