What YOU Focus on GROWS.

JOYFUL RESOURCES: TOOLS FOR EVERYDAY ENERGETICS:

What You Focus On GROWS.

What Are You Watering: Weeds or Wellness, Traumas or Triumphs; Horrors or Happiness, Stress or Success?

What you focus on grows, and whether we totally understand this or not, it greatly affects each and every one of us every day. I invite you to Challenge yourself and find out what you are watering. In terms my children like “Are you making doodoo or dreams?”

Take note of whom and what gets your attention. What are your predominate thoughts, feelings and actions? Which is your dominant perspective – cup half empty, cup half full, cup running over, what cup?  Answers to these questions will show you which end of the spectrum you occupy more – the worry, overwhelm, depressed, hopeless, frustration end, or the appreciation, ease, enthusiasm, prosperous, happy end.

So what are you watering? If it is what you want more of – fantastic keep doing what you are doing. If on the other hand, you’re watering what you don’t want, then time to move your watering can by shifting your focus onto more of what you want.

Some simple “watering” tips
1. If it doesn’t feel good, then don’t water it! Focus on it as little as possible, and as soon as possible, focus on something that does feel good.

2. Listening to negative people and/or news shows, and participating in negative conversations, allows others to water your weeds. If you don’t want to get more of what you don’t want, then stop listening and participating in these types of conversations. Otherwise your weeds will grow fast and strong.

3.  Spend as much time as is possible thinking about and doing the things that make you happy. You are watering what you want more of.

4. Surround yourself with positive, happy, people, and not only are you watering your wellness, but so are they. Your wellness is on automatic sprinklers, and what you want grows exponentially fast!

Conscious “Watering” (focusing) puts you firmly on the path of being able to create and live your best life.
