NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office have made two arrests in the case where a 44-year-old male victim was tied to a chair and robbed, but are still looking for a third suspect.

According to officials, the case is no longer being considered a home invasion after investigators learned that two of the three suspects were living at the Moon Lake address where the assault took place.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Bobbie Jo Curtis, 40, had met the victim on an internet dating website singlesnet.com.

The victim reportedly invited Curtis and her 16-year-old son to live with him at the home located at 13124 Midvale Avenue.

Detectives say they had only been living there for a week, when the victim was tied up and beaten inside his own home.

Curtis, her son, and a third female suspect allegedly took household items and guns.

A 69-year-old neighbor reportedly witnessed the suspects putting property into the victim's van and questioned them about what they were doing.

When the neighbor started going into the victim's home - he was reportedly hit in the head with a baseball bat.  When he regained consciousness, the neighbor then called 911 around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the 44-year-old victim unconscious with serious head injuries.  Both were transported to a local hospital.

Later, detectives received a tip that the van belonging to the victim was at the Riverside Inn in New Port Richey.  When they arrived, the van was gone, but Curtis and her son were still there and taken into custody.

They face charges of unlawful imprisonment, aggravated battery, attempted homicide, and grand theft auto.

The third suspect, Vanessa (Venessa) Musson, is currently at large, as is the white Ford Econoline van with Florida plates 3 6 6 T Q H.  She is considered armed and dangerous.  Investigators say Musson has multiple tattoos on her back, angles, and chest, including the word "Nessa" on her arm.

Anyone who sees this van is asked to contact the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at 727-844-7711, but is instructed not to approach the suspect directly.
