OFFICIAL: Joao Pereira moves to Sporting

25 year-old Joao Pereira has made a move to the Lisbon side, Sporting. For a fee of around 3 million, Pereira has made a valuable move the the Alvalade. Sporting, who are in need of a full back, will receive the player for training in January. Here’s a quote from the man himself:

“This caught me by surprise. I had the ambition to play at a club bigger than Braga, as I have stated many times. I was already on holiday when the president of Braga phoned to tell me of Sporting’s interest and straight away I demonstrated that I was also interested.”
