That's one way to court attention! Mel B channels her sophisticated side in figure-hugging cream dress for legal battle

She may have been making a court appearance, but Mel B proved she certainly knows how to dress to impress as she stepped out on Thursday.
Opting for a spot of power dressing, the 37-year-old singer courted plenty of attention as she left a legal centre wearing a curve-enhancing cream frock.
Ensuring all eyes were on her, The Spice Girls star showed off her incredible figure in the sexy number, with a slim belt enhancing her tiny waist and accentuating her killer curves.

The mother-of-three teamed her stylish dress with a pair of towering skyscraper heels and a simple tan clutch bag, while her brunette locks were slicked back into a chic ponytail.
Although appearing in court was no doubt relatively stressful, the star didn't give away any hint of anxiety, chatting away on her mobile phone before talking to law enforcement officers inside the Waverley Local Court in Sydney, Australia.
Mel was in court to seek an extension to an interim apprehended violence order against Australian paparazzo Jamie Fawcett.

And although neither party had a direct role to play in the proceedings, both ensured they turned out to the hearing, which lasted less than five minutes.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, when asked why he had come to court, Fawcett said he had to deliver 'evidence that will become clear later'.
Mel and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, took out the order against the celebrity snapper in October after he is alleged to have 'threatened and intimidated' the couple while they were enjoying a day of kayaking on Sydney Harbour.

However, he has strenuously denied the claims.
Fawcett said at the time: ''I'm not frightened by the cameras and they shouldn't be either. There's been no breach of the law in relation to my activities.
'The issue is whether the mere act of taking a picture is intimidating behaviour and in my view taking a picture is just part and parcel of showbusiness.'
