When it comes to red carpet events, Kate Mara very rarely gets it wrong.
And Thursday night was no different, with the 30-year-old cutting a stunning appearance as she attended the Martell Caractere Cognac launch.
The pretty redhead looked incredible in a full-skirted white Viktor & Rolf minidress as she posed up at the event alongside stars including Rosario Dawson and Andy Garcia.
Anything but invisible! Kate Mara wowed in a full-skirted white minidress for the Martell Caractere Cognac launch on Thursday night
Showing
off her slim figure in the dress, which featured embellishments on the
collar, Kate kept her look otherwise simple with a pair of white and
perspex sandals and a white studded clutch bag.
Kat'es outing at the event came as it was reported she is in line for a role in the new Fantastic Four reboot.
According
to Variety, Kate is one of three women being considered to play Sue
Storm, aka The Invisible Woman, in the upcoming 20th Century Fox remake -
the part played by Jessica Alba in the last adaptation of the comic
book.
Flawless: Kate kept her make-up simple for the occasion, which came as it was revealed she's in line for the role of the Invisible Woman in the new Fantastic Four reboot
Monochrome chic: While Kate went for all white, Rosario Dawson opted for a black dress with a sexy lace back
Famous friends: Kate and Rosario posed up together inside the event
But Kate does have competition for the part from Atonement star Saoirse Ronan, and Australian beauty Margot Robbie.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington is reported to be auditioning for the lead role of
Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, while fellow Brit actor Jack O'Connell
and Miles Teller will also be offered the opportunity to read for the
role.
Earlier this year, it
was reported that director Josh Trank has tapped Michael B. Jordan, who
starred in his hit sci-fi film Chronicle, for the role of Johnny Storm,
aka The Human Torch. The Fruitvale Station star remains the sole actor
considered for the role.
Cuddling up: Rosario also posed alongside actor Andy Garcia, who wore a suit and scarf despite the warm weather
At this time it's not yet known who will be seen for the part of Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
Screenwriter Simon Kinberg was recently hired to rewrite the film's script.
Fantastic Four will hit cinemas in July 2015.
