Glowing Olivia Wilde shows off tiny baby bump just two days after confirming she is expecting first child with Jason Sudeikis

She has just revealed that she's expecting her first child with fiancé Jason Sudeikis.

And Olivia Wilde, 29, was simply glowing as she made her first appearance since announcing the news, attending the International Women's Media Foundation 2013 Courage in Journalism Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress showed off a hint of baby bump in her sleeveless Cushnie et Och shift dress as she arrived at the event at the Beverly Hills hotel.

She paired the flowery ensemble with a pair of heels and carried a small clutch bag as she posed for photographs at the event.

The Rush star left her ombre tresses flowing loose around her shoulders and let her pregnancy glow shine through a minimally made-up visage.

On Sunday night a source close to Olivia and Jason, 38, told People: ‘They are incredibly happy. They're very excited to welcome a new member into their family.’

A spokesperson for the couple also confirmed the news before Olivia took to Twitter to thank fans for their good wishes.

She wrote: 'WOW. You guys are awesome. So kind. Thank you thank you thank you! PS. Babies eat mostly salsa right?'

And if Olivia has her way, this first child won’t be the only one for the pair.

She told Marie Claire magazine earlier this year, ‘I’m open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party. I am not trying to have kids now – there's no strict plan for anything in my life.

'What happens, happens. He's so good with kids ... I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, “That's who I want to raise a child with.”’

The actress first met Jason on the season finale of Saturday Night Live in 2011 and they began dating six months later.

They got engaged in January 2013 and are set to wed in New York City next spring.

The former House star was previously married to Italian prince Tao Ruspoli for eight years until 2011, while Jason split from Kay Cannon, his wife of six years, in 2010.

Although Jason didn’t attend the event, Olivia was surrounded by plenty of other celebrities.

I always enjoy reading articles about Olivia, I would much prefer to open D.M., and come across an article on Olivia, on a daily basis, than being bombarded with articles on the Kardashian clan.
