They're hard to miss when they roam red carpets.

But Wiz Kalifa and Amber Rose were barely recognisable as they went through security at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday.

Putting comfort first, the couple dressed down in casual clothing and opted to wear plastic-rimmed glasses for their departing flight.

Amber, 30, usually wears long fake lashes and makes sure her short blonde hair is groomed into a sleek style.

But the mother-of-one - who welcomed her son Sebastian in February - was hardly concerned about her appearance on Friday, as she trekked through security with the rest of the ordinary crowd.

Wiz, on the other hand, may have been trying to go unnoticed.

She has a low maintenance side... The model usually has on a full face of make-up and makes sure her hair is styled

No special treatment here... Amber even had to go through a thorough body scan

The 26-year-old rapper kept a hooded jacket on as he followed his wife, but of course had to take it off to get scanned.

Their jewels may have also posed a problem, as the duo both wore layers of gold necklaces and other metallic accessories, which needed to be removed in order to go through security.

Amber even had to pass through a more thorough inspection before proceeding to her gate, spotted lifting her arms up for a body scan.
