Her rocker husband Roberto Zincone filed for divorce the day before Thanksgiving.

And newly single Malin Akerman kept busy with work - enjoying a little bonding time with her son Sebastian on the Burbank set of Trophy Wife Friday.

The Swedish-born 35-year-old covered up in a black puffer jacket as she clutched the seven-month-old tyke wearing a beanie inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany's.

She later stripped off the jacket to show off her slender figure and long legs in the briefest of tennis outfits while shooting the ABC sitcom.

Despite the recent turmoil in her private life she looked pleased to be back at work, smiling as she  enjoyed the game.

The beautiful blonde showed off her serve and strokes, at one point bending down to grab her doubles partner's arm after he fell over on the court.

Malin's game ace, of course, was her distractingly short white skirt, which had a pleated detail to help her move and reveal more of her gorgeous pins.

But it was obviously a chilly day as she donned a black quilted jacket in between shots to keep warm.

Malin's new show scored a full-season pick up last month, which means the Swedish-Canadian will have plenty of work to keep her mind off her pending divorce.

On November 26, she and her husband announced their 'amicable' split after six years of marriage, just seven months after welcoming their first child together, son Sebastian in April.

A day later, Italian drummer Roberto filed to legally dissolve their union.

The couple married in 2007 in Italy and the actress recently claimed they were very happy together, citing their ability to talk through any issues as their strong suit.

'We've never had a single fight. We've always talked things out,' she told Us Weekly.

Aside from work, Malin will also have baby Sebastian to keep her busy.

'I'm lucky,' the actress said of her job on The Trophy Wife. 'This business is so awesome. [Sebastian] is with me on set every day. We have a nursery.'

On Wednesday evening, the actress left Sebastian safely at home as she joined Sean 'Diddy' Combs at an event in LA to kick off the Ciroc vodka Safe Rides campaign, encouraging people not to drink and drive on New Year's eve.

The celebrity rocked a short black leather skirt and lace blouse teamed with light blue high-heeled sandals.

This year on-demand transport app Uber will give discounts for safe rides home on January 1. And if consumers make one million pledges not to drink and drive before 2014 it will give new users a $25 coupon code, up to a maximum of $1 million.

Who writes this stuff? "She is certainly easier on the eye than legendary 90s champion Aranza Sanchez Vicario" - I thought things were getting better with the media and women in sport. But it seems Mail Online is intent on seeing women in sport as purely aesthetic objects. Sad that even in an article on (the admittedly beautiful) Malin you have to trash someone else who accomplished a lot regardless of how she looked.
