Forever young! Jennifer Aniston, 46, looks fresh-faced and youthful as she heads out to the theatre in NYC

She may be 46-years-old, but Jennifer Aniston still looks remarkably fresh-faced.

On Tuesday night, the Friends star was seen arriving for Larry David's Fish In The Dark in NYC before heading out for dinner with a friend.

Dressed stylishly in black, Jen's natural glow and shiny blonde 'do made the actress look almost the same as she did in her Friends heyday.

Interestingly, the Cake actress recently revealed the secret to her healthy-looking tresses, saying that perspiration is a great tool for styling your locks and uses it as though it was 'product'.

When asked if she washes her hair after workouts, she said: 'No, I don't. I actually don't. A little sweat in the hair is nice. It's like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it's actually just fun.'

The star has insisted she only washes her hair every two or three days thanks to a shampooing product - made by a company she partly owns - which contains no silicone.

Put your best foot forward in Jennifer's Proenza Schouler sandals

She might not have been taking to the stage, but Jennifer Aniston looked like the star of the show when she arrived for a night at the theater in New York.

The former Friends star looked sophisticated in an all-black ensemble which included a smart long tuxedo blazer and tapered trousers. But ever the footwear fanatics, it was her heels that have got us reaching for our credit cards.

They're by Proenza Schouler and we love the triple strap style. She added to Fashionista magazine: 'Silicone is a culprit in most shampoos. Over time, it builds up and turns into a hard coating and it cracks and breaks and snaps your hair.

'[People were] always saying, 'Don't wash your hair every day!' but it was impossible - because of all the oils and silicone - it would create this greaseball head of hair within a day.

'The Living Proof scientists ... found a molecule to replace the silicone. Therefore, your hair is lighter and cleaner for days. I'd say I go every two to three days easily without washing my hair.'
