Jonathan Stoffel, 33, his daughter Olivia (both pictured right) and another man, 31-year-old Adam Bentdahl, were all fatally shot on a recreational bridge in Menasha, Wisconsin at 7.30pm on Sunday. Stoffel's wife and Olivia's mother, 32-year-old Erin Stoffel (right), was shot three times but managed to run off the bridge with their two other children, aged five and seven. She remains in critical condition but doctors say they are hopeful that she will recover from the wounds to her abdomen, thigh and hand. On Monday, police named the killer as 27-year-old Sergio Valencia del Toro (left), a U.S. Air Force veteran and college student who was upset after an argument with his former fiancee, Haylie. Police said the couple had broken off their engagement just a week earlier. A woman, believed to be Haylie, could be seen collapsed on the ground at the scene of the killings as she was comforted by another woman (center).

Elton Simpson, from Phoenix, Arizona, (top left) and his roommate Nadir Soofi (center) opened fire outside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Dallas before they were both shot dead by a traffic officer outside. Investigators can be seen inspecting weapons and removing their bodies from the scene on Monday (pictured top and bottom right). Simpson had previously been convicted of lying to the FBI about his plans to travel to Africa, but a judge ultimately ruled it could not be proved that the was heading there to join a terror group. The shooting unfolded on Sunday evening as the American Freedom Defense Initiative held an event inside the building where caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad were being displayed.

The Princess of Cambridge has finally been revealed to the world as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana (pictured center) - in a touching nod to her grandfather Prince Charles, her grandmother Princess Diana (top right) and her great-grandmother The Queen. Kensington Palace revealed the royal baby's full name after days of speculation and close friends of Princess Diana immediately said the choice means the spirit of Prince William's beloved mother 'lives on'. The Duke of Cambridge was determined to pay tribute to his mother - despite the efforts of some palace courtiers to have Diana airbrushed from royal history. William was, however, clear that his baby girl should not have Diana as a first name. 'It would have been a millstone around her neck,' says one of the princess's long-time friends.

NEW Darren McGrady, who was the princess's personal chef until her death in 1997, has told Daily Mail Online how she spoke of her longing for a daughter when she held his newly-born little girl. McGrady (bottom right) spoke after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their second child, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana (left). McGrady told how Diana (center bottom) cradled his daughter for 20 minutes when she was newborn. She also sent a note (top) of congratulations which he said: 'That is the exact same note that the Princess would be sending to Kate.'

A college student has been caught on camera as she allegedly tried to poison her two roommates. Hayley King (left), a 22-year-old University of South Carolina student was arrested in February after her roommates set up a hidden camera that seemed to record the young woman as she first spit into their food and then later sprayed it with window cleaner (right). This after the other two girls say the three had been fighting for weeks.

The cold war between NeNe Leakes and Wendy Williams erupted again at a women's empowerment seminar in Atlanta on Sunday. Not only were both women were registered as keynote speakers, they spoke back-to-back.
And their dressing rooms were right next to each other. Wendy's husband/manager went ballistic. The bad blood began when Wendy called NeNe out for a tweet about reality stars.

NEW Kayla Mendoza boasted about being drunk before she killed Kaitlyn Ferrante and Marisa Catronio in South Florida in November 2012. Family members of both victims attended the sentencing, where they wore shirts with a photo of the two best friends. Mendoza had faced a maximum of 30 years behind bars.

Richard Arthur Rahn, 54, attended several events near Olivia, Minnesota, wearing a command sergeant major uniform decorated with a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and a Ranger Tab. Though he did not break Minnesota law or violate the Federal Stolen Valor Act of 2013, Rahn was found guilty of firearm offenses and was sentenced to five years in prison in March.

NEW Barbara Tatge, 55, of Tennessee was dared by her daughter to kiss a good-looking man while running the April 20 race. Tatge's daughter, Paige, began taking to social media last week to find the man who left an impression on her mom. On Sunday, she heard from the mystery man's wife in a letter who said the attention was fun but that the couple wanted to remain anonymous.

Police say seven-year-old Clara Bergan was flown to a Phoenix hospital, where she was later pronounced dead after Sunday's accident at a home in Gilbert. The swing is used to jump from a rope into the pool. It snapped at the base about 9.30am, hitting Clara and another girl, Kayla Eherlico, 14, and throwing them into the water. Clara was not breathing when she was pulled from the pool. Kayla survived but suffered a shoulder injury.

NEW Johnesha Perry, 19, was charged Monday with attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child after throwing her son off a bridge in Allentown, Pennsylvania (inset), on Sunday afternoon. She then climbed the railing and jumped herself. Both survived the fall, but the little boy is now fighting for his life in hospital after being in the water for five minutes before police officers jumped in and pulled him out.

A 25-year-old police officer shot in the head over the weekend while attempting to stop a man suspected of carrying a handgun died Monday from his injuries, the third New York City officer slain on duty over the five months. Brian Moore, who was in a coma after undergoing brain surgery following the Saturday evening shooting, was pronounced dead at a Queens hospital with his family at his bedside, including his police officer father, uncle and cousin. Hundreds of uniformed officers stood at attention outside the medical center and lined up down the block to salute the ambulance carrying his body out. Afterward many could be seen crying and consoling one another. 'He proved himself to be an exceptional young officer,' Police Commissioner William Bratton said, noting Moore had made more than 150 arrests in less than five years on the job and earned meritorious service medals. 'We don't give them out easily.'

Christopher Panayiotou, from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, has been charged in the death of Jayde Panayiotou (together right), who was found shot dead in a field nearly two weeks ago. After the discovery, a bouncer who worked at a club owned by Christopher Panayiotou was arrested for the murder and claimed that he had carried out the killing after his boss paid him, according to reports. Panayiotou appeared in court on Monday, left. Before his arrest, local media had suggested that he had plagiarized a eulogy he delivered at his wife's funeral.

NEW Big surf kept rolling ashore Monday along south-facing sections of the Southern California coast after bodysurfers challenged the towering waves over the weekend and lifeguards were kept busy pulling people from the water. The highest surf was expected Monday, with some sets up to 12 feet along beaches in Orange and San Diego counties and 10 feet at Malibu and Zuma in Los Angeles County, the National Weather Service said. By midmorning, 6- to 8-foot waves were reported at Santa Monica. The surf was slighter higher in Venice, forecasters said.

Kameyea Jennings from Jacksonville, Florida, has been battling cancer since she was 16, She was shocked when Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks showed up in her hospital room with roses and asked her top rom.

More than 24 critically endangered cockatoos were rescued by police after being found stuffed in water bottles for illegal trade. Smugglers had crammed the Yellow-crested cockatoos into empty bottles so they could get through customs at Port of Tanjung Perak in Surabaya, Indonesia. But Indonesian Police discovered the birds, which can be sold for as much as £650 each, and cut them free so they could receive medical attention.

Byron Holeman, (top left) 48, was driving home from work on the 91 Freeway when he saw Armando Vergara, 33, underneath a Ford F150 pickup truck and started recording as he stopped with other drivers to help. Vergara, who was in full protective gear and only received minor injuries, was seen screaming in terror while trapped underneath the vehicle. An off-duty firefighter also stopped and helped get the motorcyclist free by using car jacks.

The dog, named Boo, weighed only 7lb when she was found in Sonoma County, California. It took animal control officer Shirley Zindler hours to coax Boo out of her makeshift shelter. Boo 'submitted miserably' to human contact at first and had to have temporary surgery, losing all her puppies. But Zindler is personally caring for Boo until she finds a 'forever' home.
