As Caitlyn Jenner's new identity 'causes problems' at her exclusive golf course, MailOnline looks at the ways the former Bruce Jenner's life might change

She unveiled her new feminine look on the cover of Vanity Fair on Monday but the transition of Bruce Jenner into Caitlyn is reportedly set to 'cause her some problems at the golf course.'

According to TMZ, the 65-year-old will have some difficult changes to bear in mind at the Sherwood Country Club, which she loves to frequent.

Bruce became a member of the club in Thousand Oaks, California some 15 years ago and has visited nearly every day, with an expensive joining fee of a reported $225,000.

TMZ claims the male and female members are segregated to an extent, which may mean that Caitlyn's use of the venue, (which is closed for renovations until December), may have to be adapted.

The site reports: 'The main dining room and bar are male only. They're actually attached to the men's locker room and women are not allowed. The women's restaurant is way more scaled down.

'Our Sherwood sources say the board will enforce the rules, which means the camaraderie Bruce shared with the other members will be greatly impeded now that she's Caitlyn.

'But we're also told the board is open to an appeal by Caitlyn herself. She can attempt to make a case that she can keep the same privileges she had when she was Bruce.'

MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Sherwood Oaks and Caitlyn Jenner for comment.

The situation at the golf course is not the only change Caitlyn will have to bear in mind as she embraces her new lifestyle.

While Bruce shunned the limelight around the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's pre-wedding celebrations in Paris, Caitlyn has now been thrust into the media glare more than ever before.

'I like it': Before the family were aware of Bruce's desire to transition, they voiced their concerns over his ponytail, but he insisted on keeping it

A source told RadarOnline at the time: 'Bruce is having a terrible time and he is bored out of his mind. Once again he feels like a prop in the festivities.

'[His estranged wife] Kris has been barking orders at everyone since they arrived in Paris for Kim's wedding. He just wishes he could have stayed at home and played with helicopters.'

However, Caitlyn is set to make her first scheduled public appearance at the 2015 ESPYS on July 15, which will also air live on ABC, as she receives the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Getting used to her new moniker after 65 years has also proved to be a little testing.

'A guy came in the other day and I was fully dressed - it's just habit, I said, "Hi, Bruce here," and I went, "Oh fu*k, it ain't Bruce," I was screwing up doing it.''

'I don't really get hung up,' she said.

Caitlyn's new glamorous appearance will also get some getting used to - as Bruce used to be famous for stepping out in his favourite tracksuit and slippers.

But Bruce told Kim in a two-part special of their reality show last month that he was relishing his new attention to detail.

He said, 'Actually I do very good in the make-up department. I could do your make-up. I could do it all, baby!' Bruce offered.

As he flashed his pink pedicure to his step-daughter, she said: 'Your feet are actually way more feminine than I ever would have imagined! I am impressed.'

Bruce used to hate to getting his hair cut but no doubt Caitlyn is embracing trips to the salon to have her flame-red locks curled and blow-dried as on the Vanity Fair cover.

In the first of E!'s two Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce episodes, Jenner talked about why haircuts have been especially difficult for him in the past.

'The haircuts for me have been the worst days of my life. Does the hair look better on Bruce? Sure…but on my soul? No.'

While Bruce has been married to Kris Jenner for 23 years, Caitlyn will find herself a single woman and free to hit the dating scene.

When Diane Sawyer asked him if he was a lesbian, he replied: 'I am, as far as I know, heterosexual. As far as I know, I've never been with a guy. I've always been married, raising kids.

'Sexuality is who you are personally attracted to. But gender identity is who you are as a person and your soul and who you identify as inside.'

Athletic Bruce, who was a former Olympian medallist, was a huge fan of rowing, weight-lifting, mountain-biking and motor-cross, but in 2011 he told WECT, that he had already altered his regime to stay in shape.

'I'm an avid mountain biker, he said. 'I lifted a lot but now I don't lift that much. Primarily, mountain biking. I figured my heart and my lungs are the things that are going to keep me alive.

'Not the size of my biceps.'

Bruce's family have taken to social networking in their droves to commend Caitlyn on her unveiling.

Teams of celebrities have piled in with an overwhelmingly positive reaction, from the likes of Demi Moore, Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres.
