She’s known across the world as 'The Body', and on Monday Elle Macpherson proved exactly why.

The 51-year-old Australian supermodel was spotted cruising through France's Saint Tropez, soaking up some sun while sporting a white string bikini.

Elle revealed a hint of underboob and her toned stomach was very much on show in the skimpy swimwear as she stood on the edge of the extravagant yacht, peered down at the surrounding waters, before performing a perfect dive into the ocean.

The mother-of-two's triangle-cut bikini top and string bikini bottoms were later teamed with a flowing white kaftan, though that didn't stop her trim pins from stealing the show.

Parading her slender legs, she was seen striding across the boat, with her billionaire beau Jeffrey Soffer and children seemingly not too far away.

Elle was seen looking down at her own tummy during one instance, undoubtedly admiring her sculpted figure she has managed to maintain over the years.

Another day another bikini from 'The Body' aka Elle Macpherson.

Melissa Odabash was a swimwear model herself before she turned to designing so she has plenty of experience and knows what makes a good bikini or swimsuit. In fact her creations have often been described as 'the Ferraris of the swimwear world' so you can see why Elle is such a fan.

The blonde beauty was seen checking her phone from time-to-time, as well as admiring the picturesque view of course.

When she wasn't relaxing in the glorious sunshine, the fashionista continued to take the plunge by diving into the water for a fun swim.

The runway sensation has been enjoying an exotic tour of the global seas in recent days, having been spotted cruising through Monte Carlo, Monaco, over the weekend with her man Jeffrey.

The entrepreneurial businesswoman's marriage to Jeffrey, 45, is her second - she first tied the knot with Gilles Bensimon in 1986, though the pair would split three years later.

She has two children, 17-year-old Arpad and 12-year-old Aurelius, with a finanicer Arpad Busson, whom she began dating in 1996 and separated from in 2005.

Elle and Jeffrey began their relationship in 2009 and barring a six month break in 2012 have been together ever since, marrying in 2013, with the model becoming step-mother to his children.

Jeffrey was indeed spotted on board the yacht on Monday, opting for a cool and casual outfit.

He teamed the top with a pair of navy blue shorts, and kept a low profile with a pair of sunglasses.

As guest editor of The Chalkboard Mag this month, Elle admitted: 'As a young model I was seen as athletic and strong.

'But it was not until much later that I realized the importance of wellness and how proper nutrition can have a profound effect on how you look and feel.'

'It’s well known that eating more plants can help keep our bodies alkaline, but I know how difficult it can be to live a strict alkaline diet, and honestly, I don’t believe in extremes. I want to live my life and not worry, so I take an alkalizing greens supplement every day.'

Meanwhile in an interview with Australian breakfast television show Sunrise last month, Elle admitted. just like the rest of us mere mortals, growing older has affected her confidence.

'It's one thing being 20 and gorgeous with legs up to your armpits and beautiful tight skin... and it's another to be 51,' she said during a frank interview with Sunrise on Wednesday.

'Finally you get to this stage and you say "I've been known to be one of the most beautiful women in the world," and felt really not confident and sure of myself.

'As I've matured I've realised that it doesn't really matter what I look like. The most important thing is how do I feel?

'When I started sleeping more and relaxing a bit more in my life and looking after my nutrition... good nutrition can change everything.

The stunner was nicknamed The Body by Time Magazine when she appeared on their cover in 1989 following a string of appearances in the Sports Illustrated annual Swimsuit Issue.

Along with glam squad Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen and Claudia Schiffer, Elle was named among the 'Magnificant Seven' in 1996.
