After finding love on a very public medium, it seems Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiancé Shawn Booth have developed a soft spot for televised romances.

And during a press conference on Tuesday, the former Bachelorette and her final rose choice revealed that they had discussed airing their nuptials on the small screen.

'We would consider it,' Kaitlyn, 30, told reporters, according to Us Weekly.

Her fiance, 29, revealed that they had broached the topic as well, remarking: '[It's] something we talked about for sure.'

While the couple said that same day that they were in no rush to tie the knot, Kaitlyn also said that she had given thought to wed in her town of Vancouver, Canada.

'I would get married [in Vancouver]...Either there or Vegas with Elvis, we're still trying to figure that out,' Kaitlyn said.

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, the twosome revealed they were simply excited to be engaged and seemed to have not given thought to the date of their wedding.

The former personal trainer insisted they were looking forward to revelling in their new public romance.

'Right now we're just so excited to finally be able to hang out and do things in public, but more importantly we just want to spend some time with our friends and family first,' Shawn revealed.

'We're going to do that for the next month – go to my hometown, go to her hometown, and kind of relax, and then start figuring out the long-term plans.

Kaitlyn added that they are hoping to decide where they want to settle down after visiting both cities.

'He's never been to Vancouver, I’ve never been to Nashville,' she admitted. 'So we're kind of going to do both and figure out where we want to be. Either one I'm not going to be upset with.'

She reiterated that you won’t find her looking at wedding dresses just yet.

'We're really excited to be engaged and be cute,' Kaitlyn said. 'It makes little things more exciting now, to be out in public and just go get coffee, and that fun stuff.'

Fans watched on Monday as Kaitlyn accepted Shawn's proposal after turning down Nick Viall, who was also the runner-up for Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's season.

Shawn told the dancer when he arrived to propose: 'I fall more and more in love with you every time I see you. I see a best friend, a partner-in-crime. You have already made me the happiest guy in the world. I love you so much.'

The dancer accepted the 6ft 2in hunk's proposal, telling him in return: 'The truth is you light me up and you make me laugh and most importantly you allow me to be myself.

'I know that this has not been easy on you. I've made some mistakes. A lot of mistakes. And I have to be honest with you and tell you the truth. And the truth is that I never want you to question what we have ever again because I am completely yours and I will always be faithful to you.

'I love you with all of my heart like I've never loved anyone before and I can't wait to make a lifetime of memories with you. You are The One and you always will be.'
