They haven't been seen apart in days as the continue to promote their new film Fantastic Four.

And on Tuesday rumoured romancers Kate Mara and Jamie Bell were out and about in New York again as they left their hotel to go for a walk.

While the rest of the cast only seem to come together for their press calls and engagements, the actor and actress have been inseparable over the last few days while hitting the campaign trail for the movie.

Kate, 32, who plays Susan Storm in the film, was wearing pale pink tweed dress with giant pockets, teamed with ruby red metallic looking pointed shoes.

Her elfin pixie crop was styled effortlessly and her make-up in a soft palette to match her frock.

Jamie, 29, who stars as The Thing, meanwhile was a man in black wearing a pair of jeans and a jacket and T-shit.

He held his phone in his hand as he walked closely to his co-star.

The pair were walking through Bryant Park.

Later in the day she was seen out fulfilling her publicity duties again in another outfit - this time wearing a chic black dress that featured a bold design imprinted on the fabric.

She teamed her dress with a pair of gold snakeskin high heels.

Kate has been rocking her pixie crop throughout the campaign trail, winning many admirers of the style.

Good friends: The four actors made an appearance on The Today Show on Monday and discussed their chemistry on set

Speaking on Live With Kelly and Michael on Tuesday she said: 'I don’t have to wash it now, I don’t have to brush it. I love it.'

However she admitted that while most people have given her the thumbs up for her look, one person isn't a fan - her dad.

She told host Kelly: 'I got one sort of negative thing said to me. I text messaged my dad the other day saying I miss you, and his response was, I miss your hair. So, thanks Dad!'

On Monday the cast went on Today to talk about their roles in the film, with Miles Teller, 28, who plays Reed Richards, joking: 'We're all on fire, baby! Straight to the top!'

Speaking out about their rapport while filming, Michael B Jordan, 28 who plays Johnny Storm said: 'It wasn't hard to build that chemistry on-set.'

The group all hit the New York nightlife on Sunday night and were seen out together with Miles' girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.

However it is Jamie and Kate who seem to be spending the most amount of time together in the group.

Dressed up: The pair have had to fulfill a number of press engagements for the movie - they were seen here together on Saturday in New York

They were seen out several times over the weekend.

However an insider told E! News back in May: 'They are the very best of friends, long-time friends. Nothing more.'

Jamie has a son with estranged wife Evan Rachel Wood; the pair separated in May last year after 19-months of marriage.

The couple previously dated in 2005, before splitting a year later. But they rekindled their romance in 2011, leading to their wedding in the October of 2012

In a statement announcing the split at the time, a spokesperson told Us Weekly: 'Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate.

'They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends.'

Kate, meanwhile, split from her long-term boyfriend Max Minghella in August last year.

Based on the Marvel Comics series, Fantastic 4 follows the exploits of the group after they are transported to a strange universe and return with altered bodies and super powers.

The group must then use their abilities to save the Earth from a new enemy - someone they once considered to be a friend.

Fantastic 4 will be released in North America on Friday.
