Jaimie Alexander's character gets put through explosions and other catastrophes on her upcoming series Blindspot.

The 31-year-old actress was understandably 'winded' as she swept through Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday.

Jaimie, who spent two days promoting the new drama during TCAs, looked like she'd been in a wind tunnel with that tousled 'do.

Is it windy outside? Jaimie Alexander swept through LAX on Thursday with a somewhat messy 'do after a whirlwind of promotional duties at TCAs for her new show Blindspot

The brunette beauty didn't let a few errant strands of hair get in her way however and strolled briskly to the check-in counter.

Jaimie looked neat and business-like in black trousers and a white sleeveless V-necked top along with black heels.

Large-framed shades kept those locks out of her eyes and she carried a very stylish, star-spangled black leather handbag.

On Wednesday, Jaimie wowed in a tight white dress with a very plunging neckline while attending the star-studded NBC Universal 2015 Summer Press Tour.

On that occasion, the star accessorised her look with delicately strapped silver heels and a wavy 'do.

And then on Thursday, Jaimie attended a Q&A panel with the show's producers and cast.

In Blindspot, Jaimie plays Jane Doe - a woman found naked in New York City's Times Square with no memory of who she is or how she got there.

She is also covered in tattoos that seem to hold hints about future crimes, thereby tying her directly to the FBI and especially to Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton).

Although this will be Jaimie's first starring role on television, she is well-known to audiences for the role of Sif in the Thor movies from Marvel.

Jaimie has also recently been half of one of Hollywood's biggest couples - she and Twilight actor Peter Facinelli got engaged in March.

Blindspot will premiere September 21 on NBC.
