Gemma Arterton showcases her timeless beauty in 1940s ensemble as she gets to work on movie Their Finest Hour and a Half

She recently finalised her divorce from husband Stefano Catelli.

And it looks like Gemma Arterton has wasted no time getting back into her work as the 29-year-old was seen on the set of the new period drama Their Finest Hour and a Half in London on Sunday.

The Clash of the Titans star looked the ultimate English rose as she hopped off of an old-fashioned bus in a 1940s ensemble.

Proving she can look stunning in just about any style, the screen siren looked the picture of elegance in a pink blouse which she wore tucked into a tailored navy pencil skirt.

To set the scene of a cold British day, the sophisticated design was layered beneath a grey cardigan and a beige trench coat, whilst Gemma's hands were warmed beneath a pair of brown gloves.

The look was finished with a taupe hat, her hair styled into pretty curls beneath.

Known for her natural beauty, Gemma showcased her porcelain skin by wearing little make-up, her cheeks merely in a subtle rouge.  

The film is about a British film crew who attempt to boost morale during World War II by making a propaganda film after the Blitzkrieg.

Alongside the Tess of the D'Urbervilles actress, the production will also feature The Hunger Games' Sam Claflin and Love Actually's Bill Nighy.

Gemma's appearance on set comes just weeks after she was granted a divorce from her ex husband Stefano. 

Despite separating from her husband-of-two years in November 2012, the actress was finally granted a decree nisi at a brief hearing, which neither she nor Stefano attended.

The order in the undefended petition for divorce was granted on the grounds of two years separation 'by consent'.

Court papers made public show that the talented thespian and her fashion consultant ex, who married in 2010, separated on November 1 2012 and that they have not lived together since.
