Juggling act! Channing Tatum balances ice cream cone and phone while enjoying family day out with wife Jenna and daughter Everly

Channing Tatum had his hands full on Labor Day as he tried to juggle his cell phone, a snack and an ice cream during a family outing in Southern California.

The Magic Mike star was in the picturesque town of Ojai, in the mountains north-east of Los Angeles on Monday where he was seen picking up the icy treat at a local store.

As he exited he seemed to have trouble holding on to everything with his phone and cone in one hand while clutching a white paper bag from the bakery and creamery in another.

The actor had his sunglasses tucked into the top of his unbuttoned shirt and wore a baseball cap while carrying a backpack.

He was followed out of the store by his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum and their toddler daughter Everly.

A few minutes before he'd been seen licking his ice cream which appeared to be chocolate chip in a waffle cone.

The 35-year-old has been having a low key summer after promoting the sequel Magic Mike XXL and wrapping production of Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight in June.

Next up, he's set to reprise his role as Jenko opposite Jonah Hill in 23 Jump Street and will co-produce and star in the X-Men spin-off Gambit.

His wife Jenna, 34, whom he wed in 2009, will also be busy this fall.

It was announced last month she'll be joining the cast of TV series Supergirl as Lois Lane's younger sister Lucy.
