Speaking to FEMAIL, brunette Michelle said the 'main thing' to consider when designing clothes is how they will make a woman feel.

'No matter what anyone wears, as long as they feel comfortable and confident, it shows,' she said. 'That's when fashion is at its best.

'My best-selling garments always have strategically placed lace, ripples across the stomach and things like that. Touches that help during those bloated days.'

Michelle said that her range complements her previous line and is filled with ‘dressy' evening looks, easy to wear daytime pieces and day-to-date outfits that will see you through the whole season.

She said: 'You're going to see a lot more darker, warmer colours like blacks and greys for winter. In this one we've gone for dressy-dresses that you can wear to Christmas parties or dinner dates and we've got really cool knits for the cold weather.

'We had a really successful knit in the summer collection that was grey and had no sleeves. I've done a similar one but with a twist - it's a warmer material, has a higher neck and long sleeves.'

And, of course, Michelle showcases every piece to perfection in the new campaign shots released by the high-street brand.

Evening style garments feature vintage-inspired brocade lace, sheer sleeve detailing and leather embellishments.

'Strategically placed lace to help women feel more feminine,' she added. 'It's not OTT lace but it's just enough to give it a bit of edge.'

'I design the collection on my own but he comes and sees it once it's all done,' she said. 'He always knows, if someone walks in wearing one of my pieces, he knows straight away that it's from my Lipsy line.'
