They say blood's thicker than water, but when it comes to style seems family feuds may be water under the bridge.

Rita Ora was spotted out and about in New York on Thursday after scoring major design kudos from an unlikely source - a Karadshian.

The singer famously dated Rob Kardashian and it far from ended amicably, but that did not stop his sister Khloe wearing one of Rita's more daring creations from her collaboration with Adidas the previous evening.

While the 24-year-old has struggled in America to find the massive musical success she had in the UK, the singer has been kicking goals in the fashion world.

And having Khloe - even without their history - step put in her new Space Shifter All-in-One Jumpsuit was certainly another achievement.

Despite the overnight win, Rita was keeping a low profile as she stepped out from her Manhattan hotel on Thursday.

The star held her hand up to her face and covered up the rest of her face with a leather vintage-style biker's cap and big dark sunglasses.

Her low profile may have been less to do with being humble, however, and more to do with being one of a star-studded crowd to party it up at the Harper's Bazaar Icons event the night before.

Whether she was feeling a little bit under the weather or just a tad tired, Rita still made sure to perk up for a fan.

Rita also showed off her flare for street style in an Eighties vintage meets IT fashion ensemble.

For her day out in her Manhattan sunshine, the 24-year-old rocked a pair of classic fit blue Levis and a sold out Enfants Riches Déprimés t-shirt bearing the logo of child rearing book High Risk: Children Without A Conscience.

The star accessorized the look with two of her favourite pieces, namely her studded biker hat and her beloved platform Vera Wang boots.

Matching her casual but edgy look, the hitmaker wore her blonde hair out and straightened but slightly messy.

Rita has been very busy in the last few days attending New York Fashion parties, parades and also performing on Good Morning America.

The Fifty Shades of Grey star and Rob Kardashian dated back in 2012 and when they split Rob went on a very nasty social media rant.

The reality star - who started to gain weight then withdraw from public life after the split - accused Rita of cheating on him with a number of men but the singer chose to take the high road and ignore him.

After Rob, Rita dated Calvin Harris and their split was also marked but less than civil behaviour with the DJ blocking the star performing one of the hits they had written together on a US awards show.

Calvin now is, of course, dating fellow pop star Taylor Swift.
