Besotted: The butler and the head housekeeper made for a dapper couple as they posed for pictures
The beautiful wedding ceremony, which was held in a church, saw the couple say their vows in front of family members and friends.
With all eye on her, Mrs Hughes, portrayed by Phyllis Logan, looked lovely in a heavily sequinned velvet coat teamed with a lavender dress and blue shoes as she wore a hat beautified with lace.
Meanwhile Mr Carson was dapper in a three piece grey suit, white shirt and spotted blue tie alongside a pair of perfectly polished black brogues.
Intimate occasion: The happy couple were joined by family members and friends as they celebrated their union
Happy days: The newlyweds beamed as they stood in the front pathway of the stunning church

Dowager Countess of Grantham (Violet Crawley), Dr Clarkson, Lady Mary Crawley and Lady Edith Crawley all in tow to support the union as they took to the pews in the church.
Meanwhile employees of The Crawley household, Gladys Denker, Daisy Mason and Joseph Molesley also featured in the wedding album.
Doing all in his power to make sure Mrs Hughes is happy, the choice of location for their big day came after his better half refused to be wed on the Downton estate.

Baring witness: Carson and Hughes' employees Daisy Mason and Joseph Molesley were in tow
Keeping it in the family: Lady Mary Crawley and Lady Edith Crawley sat side by side during the ceremony

However hapless Downton Abbey bosses may have blown the show's ending for fans, after a wedding order of service was found by a member of the public in Bampton, Oxfordshire.
The show, which is two episodes into its final series, is set to conclude with several weddings before it comes to an end later this year - minus that of Carson and Hughes.
The pamphlet included the names of those walking down the aisle, the prayers, hymns and the vows, although MailOnline will not be revealing the identity of the bride and groom.
A source told The Sun: 'As it's the last one, there are going to be some absolutely massive plot lines. One of them is this wedding.
'It seems a bit ridiculous that all those security measures could be put in place and then someone just leaves an order of service lying around for anyone to find.'
I'll drink to that: The Dowager Countess of Grantham's maid Gladys Denker made a toast to the newlyweds
Good times: The Crawley sisters beamed as they spoke to the couple following the ceremony
