Homicide detectives are investigating the tragic death of 11-year-old Zoe Buttigieg (pictured left and centre) after her mother Janelle Saunders made the gruesome discovery of her body on Sunday morning. A 29-year-old man, who is believed to have a attended a party at the house where Zoe lived with her mother in Wangaratta in Victoria's north on Saturday night, is under police guard in a hospital psychiatric unit. Police believe the Mildura man, who is not a relative of the family but is described as an acquaintance, was invited to the party, during which an altercation reportedly broke out. The schoolgirl has been remembered as a 'beautiful young lady' with a 'cheeky smile'.

Prince Majed Al-Saud, (left) son of the country's late King Abdullah, is facing fresh allegations of sexual abuse of three women while high and drunk at his $37m rented home in Beverly Hills. New court papers seen by Daily Mail Online disclose that the women say he ordered his entire household staff to gather by the pool of his rented home in Beverly Hills (top and bottom) because he wanted them to strip naked. The women have already alleged that they saw him being pleasured sexually by a male retainer, who he also ordered to break win in his face.

When Ms Martin, a mother and stepmother of eight, saw a story about Sydney cafe owners who shut down a children's playroom speaking on television last week, she found herself nodding in agreement. Ms Martin said her cafe was now closed because of a small group of misbehaved children who regularly created chaos on the premises. She said the parents treated her cafe like a drop-in centre. Mothers changed nappies on the cafe tables and often sat in groups for hours, buying a single coffee and even bringing their own snacks and sandwiches.

Heidi Kirkpatrick (pictured), from Llanelli, South Wales, found the image of her standing in tears beside the hearse of Cpl Jamie Kirkpatrick promoting life insurance on Facebook. The photo was being used without her permission or knowledge, much to her disgust. Her husband was shot by the Taliban while serving as part of the Joint Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group in Afghanistan in June 2010.

Terence Borgioli (inset) recently took over what was formerly know as Gold Bar in Subiaco, Perth, (main) rebranding it as Brera bar. However he has been very vocal about his intended clientelle, telling 'plebs' to 'stay away' from the nightspot. Sporting shoes, trainers, flannelette clothing and high vis are all banned from the new bar, with Borgioli aiming to attract a 'fashionable, mature and well-heeled clientele'.

A Facebook post by Crown Princess Mary's brother John Donaldson has hinted at a rift between the royal and her siblings. The post suggests that Mary was excluded from a group family holiday in Rome - a mere two and half hour plane ride from her home in Copenhagen. Their father, John Donaldson senior, refers to a woman, thought to be Mary, in the Facebook post as 'she who shall not be named'. Miami-Dade Agricultural Patrol officials seized the animals on May 27 and Alex Paez, 48 (far left), was hit with four misdemeanor counts of animal abuse and issued a promise to appear in court. His wife, 50-year-old Milagros Cowan (middle left), was arraigned on Friday on the same charges as her husband. It appeared the horses' hooves had not been trimmed in at least a year and they were so overgrown that one of the animals was having trouble walking and almost toppled over while being rescued. Paez and Cowan, who participate in competitions around the US, had similar charges dropped four years ago after completing a pre-trial intervention program. The horses (seen after their rescue on right) were handed over to the South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter (inset top right) explained how 27 years ago he took to referring to Donald Trump (main picture and inset top left) as a 'short-fingered vulgarian' in Spy magazine. And incredibly, Carter claims Trump responded to the bizarre accusations by sending him pictures of his hands to prove his digits are normal in size - and did so as recently as June this year, just before he announced he was running for President. 'I almost feel sorry for the poor fellow because, to me, the fingers still look abnormally stubby,' Carter wrote. There is little love lost between Carter and Trump, whose feud has been apparent for some years.

Sarah Coglianese, a 36-year-old mother of one who lives in San Francisco, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig disease, in 2012. The fatal motor neuron disease, which has no cure, attacks nerve cells and breaks the communication between the brain and muscles. Muscles eventually stop working and become paralyzed. Life expectancy is three to five years. In an essay posted on CNN, Coglianese described how the fatal disease has changed her relationship with her now-five-year-old daughter, Scarlett (pictured with her, right and inset).

Police in Lorain, Ohio say a man accused of filming teens involved in a fatal car crash and trying to sell the macabre video to news outlets tried to bribe the car's driver to say that he had permission to film. Paul Pelton, 41, (left) was charged with vehicular trespass for opening the door of the car and allegedly videotaping the gruesome scene (bottom right), in which one teen died and the other was severely injured. The bizarre incident resembles the 2014 Jake Gyllenhaal movie Nightcrawler (top right).

The man, who has only been identified as Darius, rescued the fawn last spring, near what is believed to be Yellowstone National Park and took the fawn into his home to rehabilitate it over a two-week period. Once the fawn was healthy, he tracked down her family and released her into the wild. Since returning her to the wild he has seen the fawn several times

The Atlanta-area home of music producer Dallas Austin, where pop star Justin Bieber lived for several months in 2014, has been offered for rent from six months to half a year. The exterior of the home (top left) has gained attention for looking like a spaceship after Austin had it built in 2003 and features a roof that resembles a lily pad (bottom right).
