Ginger explained that during her time at GMA she dressed as 'Sharknado', Ariana Grande and other amazing costumes, but this year, her costume needed to be built for two.
After researching possible maternity-inspired costumes, Ginger modeled her favorites for her husband Ben Aaron and let him be the final judge.
'It is adorable, yet disturbing,' he said of her Mr. Potato Head costume. 'No, no, I don't like this one. I think we can do better.'
Ben burst out laughing when his wife came out dressed as Humpty Dumpty, with her unborn child serving as the egg.
Healthy treat: The expecting mother even used a cardboard cutout to dress her unborn baby as an avocado pit
Hiding her bump: Ginger's stomach was nowhere to be seen on Friday's GMA, where she dressed as the Hulk
'Why do they get more disturbing as we go on,' he said before rejecting the costume.
And he didn't have any words for Ginger's basketball player costume, which featured her baby bump as her basketball.
After Ginger modeled her Pillsbury Doughboy costume, Ben noted that he had a better idea.
The two ended up dressed as Homer and Marge Simpson, however, Ben portrayed svelte Marge, while Ginger let her belly peek out from under her shirt as Homer.

'My husband makes the perfect Marge,' she told Robin.
'You guys are the perfect couple,' Robin noted. 'So adorable.'
In June, Ginger announced live on air that she and Ben were expecting their first child, calling her pregnancy her 'most extreme adventure yet'.
And a month later, she let GMA fans be a part of her pregnancy once again when she and her husband revealed the gender of their baby.
The two, who married in Ginger's hometown of Rockford, Michigan, in June 2014, are expecting a baby boy at the end of the year.
