With a daughter who just turned one last month, James Corden and his wife took a break from diaper duty and enjoyed some well-deserved alone time together.

The 37-year-old English host of The Late Late Show with James Corden and his wife, Julia Carey were spotted on a dinner date in Santa Monica on Sunday.

The happy couple were spotted strolling hand-in-hand as they left Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi, a romantic Italian restaurant along the waterfront.

The British comedian was dressed down in casual denim jeans, with black sneakers and a graphic black tee.

His blonde beauty wife, while casual, looked chic in skinny jeans, with a fitted grey sweater and swept her platinum locks to the side which highlighted her natural beauty.

She kept her accessories to a minimum but carried a black leather handbag over her shoulder and her barely there makeup featured her flawless complexion.

'There’s good nerves and there’s bad nerves,' he said. 'It’s good nerves that spur you on and bad nerves that debilitate you. If I can find the good nerves, I’ll be very grateful.'

Corden has been married to Julia since September 2012 and the couple have two children together; their four-year-old son Max and one-year-old daughter, Carey.
