Call him The Jonald! Jon Stewart dons a wig and rubs orange Cheetos dust over his face to channel Donald Trump in Late Show with Stephen Colbert appearance
- The former Daily Show host was seeking to draw attention to the renewal of the Zadroga Act, which will be voted on in Congress next week
Jon Stewart came out of his late night retirement this week to promote an issue close to heart, and in turn give Americans one of the most memorable Donald Trump impressions date.
The former Daily Show host appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Thursday night, to draw attention to the Zadroga Act - a bill that funds health care for 9/11 first responders - which is expiring at the end of the year.
Stewart was met with overwhelming applause when he interrupted Colbert in the middle of his monologue, sneaking up behind his former Comedy Central partner-in-crime.

Colbert then gave Stewart the floor to do his pitch before quickly interrupting him for being too boring.
'After the sacrifice that our first-responders made –' Stewart starts
'BORING!' Colbert interrupts. 'I hate to go pro on you here, but you’ve been out of the game for a while. That’s got no zazz! No one’s going to listen to you unless you Trump it up a bit. The media won’t pay attention to anything at all, unless you are Donald Trump.'
Colbert then brings out a blond comb-over wig and 'makeup' to make Stewart look more like The Donald.
Except the makeup is really just a bag of Cheetos dust which he paints on the comedian's face, turning his skin bright orange.

Breaking character: Stewart couldn't help but crack a smile as Colbert applied some Trump 'makeup' on him in the form of Cheetos dust
Stewart then gets full into the character, boisterously gesturing and calling for supporters to tell their representatives 'Donald Trump said pull up your big boy pants'.
Stewart also appeared on the Daily Show this week to push the issue.
This week, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan confirmed that the Zadroga Act will be voted on in association with a bill set to be decided next week.
