Wannabe rid of it? Melanie C flogs her Spice Girls memorabilia collection at a celebrity car boot sale for charity... amid reports she has dropped out of band's reunion tour

They were one of the first global bands who turned their brand into a cash cow through memorabilia.

But flash forward 20 years, and Spice Girls star Melanie C seems determined to get rid of her huge collection alongside Scottish singer KT Tunstall in a bid to raise £100,000 for Syrian refugees.

Mel, 42, arrived with her own haul to flog at a charity car boot sale in London -  amidst reports that she had pulled out of the Spice Girls' highly-anticipated 20th anniversary reunion tour.

Mel rocked her former Sporty Spice look as she arrived looking cool and casual for the charity event.

She showed off her gym-honed figure in a slim-fitting grainy blue T-shirt and slipped her slim legs into a pair of black skinny jeans as she arrived with her adorable daughter Scarlet.

Scarlet, seven, her only child with property developer ex Thomas Starr, looked sweet in a yellow t-shirt and cropped blue leggings.

Mel - labelled Sporty Spice during the girl group's hey-day - held up a top emblazoned with her stage moniker to entice potential buyers.

The Star Boot Sale was to raise £100,000 for mobile health clinics to help Syrian refugees.

Also at the sale were musicians KT Tunstall and Badly Drawn Boy.

Meanwhile the Spice Girl's 20th anniversary reunion plans were left hanging by a thread after it was reported Mel C  pulled out of plans to get the iconic girl group back together to celebrate two decades since the release of Wannabe.

It comes after Victoria Beckham had refused to take part, which meant that for the first time in Spice history they are down to a trio.

Mel B, Geri Horner, and Emma Bunton are about to start fresh discussions about the possibility of still doing something.

A source told The Sun's Dan Wootton: 'Mel C is out of the reunion for now.

'She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career.

'She loves the girls but it just didn't feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.

'She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn't going to be part of the reunion.'
