And Zoë Kravitz made sure to make the most of Los Angeles' pleasant climate as she stepped out for lunch with a pal on Tuesday afternoon.

The 27-year-old actress and singer flaunted her enviably lithe, toned legs in a pair of almost dangerously tiny hotpants for her casual day out, but balanced out the racy bottoms with other casual garments.

The Mad Max: Fury Road star looked sensational despite her low-key garments, her slender pins and thighs well and truly on show as she strutted down the sidewalk.

She teamed the nearly pelvis-length hotpants with a pair of flat snakeskin boots, a loose white t-shirt and a long black cardigan, worn nonchalantly slipping down off her shoulders.

A pair of oversized black-rimmed sunglasses and a small studded tote bag completed her carefree, edgy LA girl look with flawlessness.

We love Zoe Kravitz' signature edgy style. Perhaps she gets it from her father, rocker Lenny Kravitz, but this look certainly works for her. For a recent outing in LA, the Divergent star stuck to her usual style when she wore a t-shirt, a pair of barely there denim shorts and some snakeskin booties.

She accessorized with a dark pair of sunnies and an Alexander Wang bag. The mini duffle had the brand's trademark studded bottom and it was embossed with the label's logo.

The daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet wore her trademark raven mane in slim braids, the ends coming out into curls over her shoulders and chest.

Zoë's amazing off-duty aesthetic is one that could easily rival her red carpet style: she has become known for stealing the show at big events and never lets the side down when it comes to her racy, funky attire.

Last week, the multi-talented star was seen on the red carpet at a party in West Hollywood, celebrating her new role as a muse for Yves Saint Laurent.

She teamed a racy plunging gold star mini dress with a leather jacket, giving her almost a nude appearance while sporting in the black matte biker-style cover-up.

Along with the adorable image, she gushed: 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG MAN!! Love you so much! @lennykravitz.'
