Cameron Diaz hides her face as she is seen outside a plastic surgery clinic with husband Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz was spotted outside a plastic surgery clinic Beverly Hills, California on Monday with husband Benji Madden.

The 44-year-old was holding a white cloth up to one side of her head, covering most of her face.

Cameron was dressed down for the outing in a cream blazer over a white tank top, grey skinny jeans and brown suede ankle boots.

The actress led the way past the Lasky Clinic with her 37-year-old husband of one year trailing behind her.

The Lasky Clinic is one of the world's top facilities for plastic or reconstructive surgery.

In 2014 Cameron said she regretted having Botox because it made her look so different.

'It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, "No, I don't want to be like that"— I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all,' she explained to Entertainment Tonight while promoting The Body Book.

Upgrade your accessories with a crossbody bag by The Row

When it comes to investing big in a bag, there's so many choices. How are we supposed to decide between a quilted Chanel, a Saint Laurent tote or a classic Mulberry satchel?

But Cameron Diaz is making the case for this very chic crossbody bag by The Row. We love the pewter grey shade, plus the super soft suede fabric gives it a boho feel. It's the perfect size to fit your essentials both for daytime and evening, and the stitching detail on the strap is a luxe touch.

Cameron added that she has also learned to love her wrinkles.

'I love [them,] I don't mind,' she said. 'It's like, "Guess what this means, I’ve smiled my whole life." I love life. I'm happy I don’t have a problem with that.'

Two years on from her book about loving your body, the There's Something About Mary star released The Longevity Book this past summer.

The tome is all about learning to celebrate ageing, and Cameron admitted that she has learned to change her priorities after becoming too focused on staying youthful.

'I've visited my fair share of dermatologists' offices, exploring their anti-aging arsenals, from creams to lasers to Botox to fillers,' she wrote in the book.

After a busy promotional trail ahead of the release of The Longevity Book, Cameron is currently enjoying some time off from being in front of the camera.

The beauty married Benji in January 2015 following a 17-day engagement, and just seven months of dating.
