He is accompanied by one of the world's most celebrated style icons the Duchess of Cambridge, so it came as no surprise when Prince William looked to his wife for style tips.
Fans of the royal couple may have noticed that the 34-year-old royal has adopted a slightly different style of late ditching formal suit jackets for fitted tweed blazers and fashionable jumpers.
And for his engagement today the Duke of Cambridge swapped a formal shirt and tie for a fresher looking open button suit as he stepped out for World Mental Health Day.

Keep it chic in a pussy bow dress by Kate Spade
With the Royal tour of Canada at an end we weren't sure when we'd get to do a bit of fashion spotting on the Duchess of Cambridge again, but lo and behold she's out and about today and it's like she's never been away.
In Canada Kate tried some new labels like See by Chloé and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and it seems like she's sticking to the trend by wearing a dress by Kate Spade. This stateside label is a favorite of her sister Pippa Middleton and Kim Murray who both have a similar aesthetic to the Duchess, so we're just surprised she hasn't worn it before.
In a pretty shade of pink with a dusky rose print it's ultra feminine as you'd expect, a feel that is only accentuated by the retro pussy bow neck tie and the pleated skirt. The good news for all you Kate obsessives out there is it's available to buy so click (right) to snap it up at Nordstrom before the Kate effect takes hold.
Then wear with a pair of classic blush courts to complete the look. Or you can, of course, shop our edit of similar blooming lovely frocks below.
As he arrived in central London today the royal showed no signs of his former dad dressing with an open collar and tapered trousers making for suave dressing.
The prince also showcased a more adventurous style during his recent tour of Canada the shape of desert boots and luxury high street jumpers differing from his former 'estate agent' style.
The father-of-two's new look is said to be the handy work of Natasha Archer style adviser to the Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate is said to have enlisted the help of her trusty stylist to give William a much-needed wardrobe makeover.

Sources told the Mail On Sunday that the makeover process was done tactfully, with Tash assuring William that she was merely helping him to ‘edit’ and ‘freshen’ his wardrobe.
Although the makeover may be subtle experts seem to be in agreement that it has been effective in modernising Will's look.
Fashion blogger Simon Glazin told the MailOnline: 'Gone are the days of old tatty shoes and threadbare cords in Oxford toff colours.
Archer, pictured, was enlisted to help the duchess in 2014 and has now turned her handy work to her husband
Kate will no doubt be thrilled that William’s ultimate style crime – white Asics trainers (pictured) that he has worn for the best part of a decade – are finally out
Instead the prince was pictured wearing trendy desert boots during the royal couple's recent tour of Canada
'Instead, we have seen William in smart combos of reverse colour trousers and jackets: tan trousers and navy jacket, and vice versa.
'We don't want our young royals looking old before their time, we don't want them in old clothes. It's not representative of the nation they serve. We all buy 'fast fashion', which I'm not suggested for them, but the higher end high street is awash with great clothes! More of this please, Natasha!'
Style expert Naomi Isted agrees that his drab wardrobe was in need of a shake up and says it should help him live up to his wife's impeccable style.
When it comes to coats, double breasted have been dropped (left in 2012) in favour of trendier wool blazers and layers seen on the Canada tour (right)

During their Canada tour Archer dressed William in well-fitted casual jackets in more neutral tones
She said: 'The smarter shoes and tailored trousers are more suitable for his role alongside his style icon wife and give him an edgier more sophisticated appearance in comparison to his boredrobe (wardrobe).'
In hope to de-bore the royal's style Archer has dumped ubiquitous brown loafers and tatty trainers in exchange for on-trend boots and today a pair of suede slippers.
Kate will also no doubt be thrilled that William’s ultimate style crime – white Asics trainers that he has worn for the best part of a decade – are finally out.
As a source says: ‘You won’t be seeing him in those again any time soon.’
William’s cords and chinos have also been replaced by tighter- fitting tapered trousers that show off a bit of ankle.
The prince showcased his new wardrobe today as he accompanied the Duchess of Cambridge to celebrate a World Mental Health Day event at County Hall and The London Eye
For the tour of Canada, the 29-year-old stylist added linen jackets, and sweaters from J Crew, Jaeger and Reiss, her favourite high street label.
Stylist Hannah Eichler admits that the changes to his style might be hard to spot they are helping to bring the royal's wardrobe up to date.
She comments: 'It might not be anything groundbreaking, but the success here is in his new found love of more modern cuts.'
Hannah adds that she believes that William may have been looking to his younger brother for a fresher take on fashion.
Prince Harry was accompanied by his brother and sister-in-law for a trip on The London Eye
They royals spent around 30 minutes in a pod enjoying spectacular views of the capital which increased as they travelled upwards, giving them a bird's eye view of landmarks such as Buckingham Palace
She continues: 'Slimmer fitting trousers and jackets give prince will's wardrobe a trend injection, and I love how he's taken a leaf out of Harry's style book by ditching the city boy shoes in favour of more casual suede styles instead.
'And whilst his former stiff styling was his go-to look for public events, William now opts for a more relaxed look by forgoing ties and leaving shirt collars open.
'And it seems Kate's got Wills into high street fashion fever too, as HRH has been spotted wearing pieces from the likes of Reiss and Jaeger.'
While the prince has certainly been favouring the high street more of late Archer is sure not to let royal standards slip for VIP engagements.
For more formal occasions, William will now been seen in suits by Savile Row tailor Gieves & Hawkes, and never double-breasted – a style favoured by his father, the Prince of Wales.
Fun-loving Prince Harry grinned as he arrived at County Hall with his sister-in-law Kate this morning
Archer has become a close friend of the Duchess following her appointment in 2014 and has since become a permanent fixture in her life and now William's.
Today saw the prince showcase his new style as he joined the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry for World Mental Health Day.
Harry, William and Kate took a ride on the London Eye with young people who have battled psychological problems and been brave enough to share their experiences at a reception at County Hall for the annual occasion.
The royals spent around 30 minutes in a pod enjoying spectacular views of the capital which increased as they travelled upwards, giving them a bird’s eye view of London landmarks like Buckingham Palace – which flies the royal standard if the Queen is in residence - St Paul’s Cathedral and the City’s skyscrapers.
Before they left the couple met with a group of children from Abacus Nursery in Streatham Hill, south London, who had been walking by after a visit to the nearby London Aquarium.
