'Love never dies': The Veronicas' Jessica Origliasso says she hasn't stopped loving Ruby Rose after confirming the couple had rekindled their romance

The Veronicas' Jessica Origliasso has revealed more intimate details about her on-off romance with Ruby Rose.

The musician discussed their relationship during an interview with Fitzy and Wippa, which she recently confirmed was very much on.

Jess, 31, says that despite the fact they had been split up, she had never stopped loving Ruby, 30.

'We adore each other,' she explained, 'we've supported each other through the last eight years of our lives, personally and professionally we've really grown together. 

'It's sort of a sweet thing, love never dies.'

It's thanks to The Veronicas new single, On Your Side, that Jess and the Orange Is The New Black star rekindled their romance.

Jess explained: 'we were talking about the music video, [Ruby's] such an incredibly creative person. She connected very deeply with this song.'

The model-actress ended up writing, directing and starring in the video with Jess.  

'We fell into being in it together and creating this characters who play out this quite dramatic love story,' Jess said.

'It sort of just happened completely organically, we didn't see it coming - she's just an incredible woman and have incredible and I feel incredibly lucky to know her.'

Her twin sister, Lisa, says she knew they would get back together and noticed how much the rekindled relationship has improved her sibling's social media standing. 

'Jess has 10,000 more followers than me now, by association,' Lisa said.
