He was defeated by his teammate Lewis Hamilton at the British Grand Prix just a week ago.

The 31-year-old Formula One ace showed off his sportsman's physique as he larked around on the surf with his spouse and their sweet little girl ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend.

Nico looked totally relaxed as he chilled out with his adorable family unit in the warm shores while sporting a pair of grey board shorts.

Vivan meanwhile showed off her incredible figure in a slinky red bikini with a triangle top and tie side bottoms - which made the most of her assets.

The ruffled top of the swimwear amplified her chest while the tiny bottoms showed off her perky posterior, making for the perfect beach babe ensemble.

She allowed her blonde tresses to tumble over her shoulders while falling from a centre parting as she concealed her make-up free face with mirrored aviators.

Head to head: After being beaten out at Silverstone last week by his Mercedes teammate Lewis, the German ace is preparing to take on the Hungarian race with full force

Despite looking totally chilled out, Nico was no doubt mulling over the previous week's events and what was to come this weekend.

After being beaten out at Silverstone last week by his Mercedes teammate Lewis, the German ace is preparing to take on the Hungarian race with full force.

Rosberg has never won in Hungary, and has seen his championship lead slashed from 43 to just a solitary point in five races.

The German finished second at Silverstone, but was demoted one place for a breach of the sport's strict radio rules. Mercedes have announced they will not appeal the decision.

'Silverstone was a good weekend except for the loss of position following the stewards' decision after the race,' Rosberg said.

'It was disappointing to lose a hard-fought and deserved second position in such a way - but we have accepted the decision and now I have to look forward with positivity.

'I am leading the championship coming up to the halfway point of the season and there's still a long way to go. The battle is on with Lewis and I'm feeling great in myself and great in the car, so bring it on. I can't wait for the next battle between us in Budapest.'

Covered up: The duo ensured they did not become overexposed

Cameraman: Nico proved his talents have no end as he snapped away
