Following the controvertial announcement that Cruz's parents have allowed him to launch his pop career this December, Peter gave his own opinion on the matter.
Writing in his new! magazine column, the Mysterious girl singer said he's had to deal with his own son asking permission to move into the fame game.
'Junior asks me all the time if he can audition for shows like BGT, but I don't want him involved in that world yet,' explained Peter.

One critic of the Beckham's decision was Piers Morgan, who slammed 'pushy parents' Victoria and David after the release of the pre-teen's festive effort.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning, he called the situation 'sickening' and said Cruz 'should be at school.'
Clear to state that he wasn't criticising Cruz himself, Piers said: 'It's not his fault. He's 11. But how did he manage to release this? It's sickening.'
