'It was so beautiful!': Katherine Heigl glows as husband Josh Kelley holds her bump during baby shower in Utah attended by Laverne Cox
Earlier this month, Katherine Heigl got to enjoy a 'beautiful and celebratory baby shower' her mother Nancy Heigl arranged for her.
As the 38-year-old wrote in her blog Those Heavenly Days, the revelry took place 'our mountain home in Utah where the baby will be born.'
Her baby bump bulging from her gleaming short-sleeved black outfit, she cosied up to her husband Josh Kelley and grinned for a photo with celebrity guest Laverne Cox.

The erstwhile Grey's Anatomy actress' incoming son, who's due next month, will be her first biological child by her husband of nine years.
They've got two adopted daughters at the moment: Nancy Leigh, an 8-year-old brought home from South Korea, and Adalaide, who was born stateside in 2012.
Photos from the baby shower show the Georgia Clay singer planting a kiss on his wife's cheek and smiling as he touched her belly.

The 36-year-old had pulled a grey jumper over his deep blue dress shirt, popping on a pair of pearl grey trousers.
Meanwhile, the Orange Is The New Black actress wore a flowing black coat over a frilled matching dress, accessorising with a diamond-patterned grey purse.
The mother-to-be's two-tiered white cake, which had frosted text heralding the arrival of 'Baby Kelly' sat next to a gorgeous floral centrepiece.

On the counter beside it was, as the Knocked Up star described in the blog, 'some fun Christmas sugar cookies decorated with a baby in mind. They were the perfect parting gift to send our guests home with.'
Wrapped in small plastic bags, the biscuits had been spruced up to resemble such infant-related items as tiny jumpers and rattles.
Heigl had got so many presents from her guests that, in addition to heaping them onto a table, she'd had to stuff a few into a grey pram that was stood beside it.
Celebrity guest: Among the invitees to the Utah bash was Laverne Cox
She recalled on the blog: 'My mother gave us a beautiful heartfelt toast that brought pretty much everyone to tears. It set the perfect tone for the night and I plan to print and have framed the William Wordsworth poem she included for our boys nursery.'
That poem was Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood, which Wordsworth wrote in 1804 and first published in 1807.
Nancy the Elder also threw in a touching Rabindranath Tagore quote: 'Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man.'
Party favours: Next to the festive cake were 'some fun Christmas sugar cookies decorated with a baby in mind' as a 'parting gift to send our guests home with'
When it came to putting the shower together, the Life As We Know it actress 'loved that my mom involved me and that I got to contribute my ideas.'
She conceded: 'I’m kind of a control freak on occasion…ok more often than not, so getting to have a voice when it came to the shower was pretty awesome for me!'
In addition to her ideas, which she'd assembled on Pinterest, 'My mother had a gorgeous Christmas tree put up,' noting: 'The Christmas holidays are a pretty big deal in my family and not only will we now be celebrating our babies birthday around Christmas, Josh and I also celebrate our wedding anniversary December 23rd.'
Well-supplied: Heigl had got so many presents from her guests that, in addition to heaping them onto a table, she'd had to slip a few into a grey pram that was stood beside it
