Olivia Culpo has an eye for a glamorous ensemble, but when she was spotted on Wednesday, she'd outdone herself.

The 24-year-old was seen strolling through an alleyway in Los Angeles in a glimmering gold overcoat.

Finely pleated, the coat fell nearly to her ankle, its hem aligning with that of her stylish black cocktail dress.

That sleeveless dress featured a sloping neckline that fell just far enough to reveal the slightest trace of cleavage.

A slit up its right hand side stretched to about two thirds of the way up the thigh, allowing a generous view of her enviably toned legs.

Accessorising with a black purse garnished with a gold-coloured chain and buckle, she'd completed her outfit with a pair of black stilettos.

As she's told Elle in an interview that ran last month, she revealed that her penchant for high heels runs in the family.

She dished that 'my grandmother is still teaching ballet and she's 83 years old. She still wears heels all the time, and I have really high arches, and I think heels are really comfortable.'
