Will Donald Trump give her away? New White House staffer Omarosa puts on a very feisty display as she tries on wedding gowns in new trailer for Say Yes to the Dress

  • Omarosa Manigault, 42, appeared on The Apprentice and will be director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the White House
  • She got engaged to Florida pastor John Allen Newman in July
  • A new teaser reveals she will appear on the upcoming season of Say Yes to the Dress to try on bridal gowns
  • Singer Elle King also appears in the preview, as does a woman saying 'I do' to a polyamorous married man who brings his wife to her fitting

With form Apprentice host Donald Trump heading to the White House, America has clearly entered a new phase in which politics and reality TV go hand in hand.

So it was only a matter of time before someone on Trump's staff appeared in yet another reality show — and it seems fitting that former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault, who will be director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, is the one to do it.

A new preview for the upcoming season of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress reveals that the 42-year-old will appear in a new episode, trying on bridal gowns for her upcoming nuptials.

Here comes the bride... Omarosa Manigault, 42, will appear on the new season of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress

Kleinfeld's, you're fired! In a new preview, she is seen trying on a dress she does not like

Diversity: Omarosa will be heading to the White House to work for Donald Trump

Omarosa appeared on the first season of The Apprentice, and was at the time married to her ex-husband Aaron Stallworth, whom she divorced in 2005.

Last summer, she became engaged to Florida pastor John Allen Newman after a year of dating.

They're set to tie the knot at the Sanctuary of Mount Calvary baptist church in Jacksonville, where John is a pastor. Interestingly, John is a Democrat, and Omarosa has admitted they are quite far apart on the political spectrum.

But while it's fashion, not politics, that comes into play on the new season of Say Yes to The Dress, things do still seem to get heated.

Drama: In the preview, Omarosa is seem getting angry with the show's presenter

Making it work: She got engaged to Florida pastor John Allen Newman, a Democrat, in July

Doing it big: Omarosa said in an interview last year that she would like to get multiple dresses for her wedding

Strars: Exes and Ohs singer Elle King is also slated to appear

In the preview, after trying on a dress she doesn't like, she jokes to her family that the show's presenter Randy Fenoli is 'about to get in the head with four bibles'.

'Randy's never worked with a bride like Lady O,' she tells the camera.

The dress she's not a fan of has an intricate, girly design, a sheer top, and a full skirt, which didn't seem to fit the criteria for any of the several dresses she plans to wear.

'I definitely want to do multiple dresses,' she told People in August. 'My mother has already been buying bridal magazines and everything! Jovani has always been a big designer for me. She does a lot of couture pieces, so I would love to wear one.

She gets angry and looks about to cry over a disagreement with her mother

I now pronounce you man and wife and wife: This couple will appear on the show as well, shopping for the bride's gown

Three's company, too? The bride also brings along the man's wife

As for what she is actually looking for, she added: 'I was so inspired looking at Ciara's wedding dress. It changed the game. But getting married in front of our churches and becoming a pastor's wife, [my dress] has to be stylish but have a level of modesty.'

Also appearing in the new season is Exes and Ohs singer Elle King, who is the daughter of actor Rob Schneider. Elle seems to have some disagreements with her mom over dresses, with the older woman disliking a gown Elle seems to prefer.

An even bigger surprise this season will be the show's first 'throuple' or polyamorous couple of three.

The bride-to-be visits Kleinfeld's with her husband-to-be, Peter — and the man's wife, Ellen, who seems happy to be there.
