Jaden Smith is a true skater boy.

The young star got into a bit of trouble with a security guard at the Calabasas Commons outside Los Angeles Wednesday when he was stopped for skateboarding on the private property.

The 18-year-old and his friends appeared to be having a little harmless fun as Jaden videotaped his friends while flying around the outdoor mall on four wheels.

Jaden was seen flying past the entrance to a movie theater with his camera in hand, seemingly trying to get a moving shot of something.

Eventually a security guard came up to the group and informed them that they were not allowed to ride or skateboards or video tape without a permit.

The teens appeared to oblige and even got the security guard laughing along with the lovable bunch.

The young Smith, who is the spitting image of his famous father, had his hair gathered at the top of his head in a sleek ponytail.

He appeared to be filming his friends for a documentary or something as he was using a rather large camera for his latest escapade.
