She's an avid Knicks fan. 

So it came as no surprise to see Jessica Chastain was on the edge of her seat as she watched her beloved New York team take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Madison Square Gardens on Monday. 

Joined by boyfriend Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, the 39-year-old actress snuggled up to her handsome beau as she watched her team lose by 14 points on the night.

Looking casual yet chic for the outing, she opted for an all-black ensemble, teaming a black jumper, blazer and trousers. 

Wearing her trademark auburn locks loose and tousled, the Golden Globe winner opted for a neutral make-up palette that accentuated her pretty features. 

Injecting a splash of colour on the evening, she donned a pair of patent black boots with a white trim.

Unsurprisingly so as she was in great company, with Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones chatting away with the pair.

Jessica has been dating Gian - an executive at Moncler - for nearly five years.  

Speaking about her man last year, Jessica gushed: 'He’s a gentleman and that’s very important to me.

'He’s from an old-school Italian family. No one in his family has ever been divorced.'
