But Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes couldn't resist going to the happiest place on Earth on Sunday night.

Leaving their kids at home, the duo enjoyed an evening at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The pair were seen holding hands while walking the magical grounds of the theme park.

Eva and and Ryan took a spin through the Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, and even braved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Eva, who at 43 is six years older than her beau, wore a Chicago Bulls hat teamed with jeans and a dark shirt as she indulged in an all-day sucker lollipop.

Eva Mendes was date-night appropriate as she stepped out with her husband Ryan Gosling to the happiest place on earth.

Eva worked a low key ensemble of an off the shoulder black top with cuffed skinny jeans and a taupe tote.

She styled this look with a Chicago Bulls cap and a pair of Saint Laurent Jodie boots.

Ryan, 36, was just as casual in a blue sweater and a baseball cap while affectionately holding his partner's hand. 

The movie star was also seen buying a plastic sword, presumably for one of his mini knights at home. 

Eva and Ryan share two children together and are famously shy of the spotlight.

The couple are parents to two-year-old Esmeralda and one year-year-old Amada. 

However, Ryan and his partner of six years have yet to tie the knot and are rarely seen out in public together.  

The happy couple have been together since co-starring in The Place Beyond The Pines in 2011.

The star has mostly been concentrating on her family and her fashion collaboration with New York & Company.
