Justin Theroux's elderly neighbor has hit back at the actor's lawsuit against him and is now suing him for harassment, bad construction and his yowling dogs.
Norman Resnicow was left fuming after Theroux sued him for $350,000 over a battle involving the actor's 'noisy' apartment renovation in Greenwich Village, New York.
Now the 69-year-old lawyer has filed suit, claiming that he is the victim of Jennifer Anistons husband's behavior, including repeated thumping at early hours of the morning and the star's 'cavalier approach toward building safety'.
The elderly man is offended that Theroux treats him and his wife as 'peon supplicants' to be dealt with by Theroux only through 'his people' and never directly.
Resnicow, who wears a pace-maker, also complains he has had to endure 'years of endless days and nights of barking, yowling and crying' from Theroux's rescue dogs.
But Resnicow admits there once was an amicable relationship between the two men, claiming that Theroux, 46, had asked him to help move out an ex-girlfriend.

The legal drama began when Theroux first sued Resnicow in May, claiming his downstairs neighbor 'made it his twisted sport to bully and intimidate' the Hollywood star, who is worth $20million.
Resnicow allegedly had kicked up a fuss over Theroux's pricey $1million pad renovation at 71 Washington Place, where Theroux and wife Aniston, 48, combined two apartments.
Aniston had sold her doorman penthouse apartment and one-bedroom apartment in the West Village for $6.5million in 2012. She originally purchased them for $7million.
Court documents state the men once had a history of 'friendly relations and cooperation'; which is why Resnicow goes on to allege that the screenwriter's legal complaints are 'as fictional as the television series in which he recently starred'.
Resnicow has claimed that he began 'feeling poorly' in 2015, culminating in him being 'near-death' and requiring a pace-maker.
Soon after he came home he was woken by chunks of ceiling falling from the master bedroom.

According to the legal documents, Theroux's dogs 'bark endlessly because they are left isolated for long periods' and the actor is often heard 'dropping heavy weights on the floor at 3AM' and has 'angry outbursts'.
Theroux once 'exploded in out-of-control anger' when his neighbor cut back overgrown Ivy, the documents claim.
In the suit Resnicow also complains that the actor has an 'aggressive terrace overreach' and that Theroux, his wife and their A-list guests use the illegal balcony.
The bitter dispute is said to have escalated after Resnicow asked his famous neighbor to soundproof his apartment due to the noise.
Court documents state the men once had a history of 'friendly relations and cooperation', citing that Theroux once asked Resnicow help move out an ex-girlfriend
Resnicow had demanded that Theroux provide funds of up to $30,000 for sound-proofing, according to the documents.
Theroux said that after he declined to shell out the funds, the neighbor set out to antagonize the construction workers making the renovations.
Theroux claims Resnicow vowed a number of actions that would make life unpleasant for the actor.
Among them: he'd disconnect the water and electricity to The Leftovers star's home; and go public with the beef in an effort to smear Theroux and Aniston publicly.
The neighbor is alleged to have told Theroux in an email that any legal moves he took would open 'the door to a broad range of allegations that would become publicly available, and which would not please Justin or his wife or their respective publicists.'
Resnicow has now retained once more that he and his wife are the victims and that they have been subjected to Theroux's rude behavior for as long as he's lived there
