'I'm an antisocial personality': Leah Remini says actress Elisabeth Moss 'isn't allowed' to talk to her as the Church of Scientology forbids it

Leah Remini is continuing her mission to speak out against the Church of Scientology. 

Now the 47-year-old is talking about fellow actress Elisabeth Moss, 35, who is a lifelong member of the church.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Leah claimed: 'Elisabeth Moss believes that she can't talk to me. There's a thing in Scientology called 'acceptable truth.' It means you only say what's acceptable to the public.'

She continued: 'But she believes that I'm an antisocial personality — because I've spoken out against Scientology. So she isn't allowed to talk to me. And me knowing that, I wouldn't put her in the awkward position.'

The two actresses will be in the same room next month as both have been nominated for an Emmy award and are both expected to attend the ceremony. 

Elisabeth is nominated for her work in The Handmaid's Tale.

Ironically, Leah is nominated for Outstanding Information Series or Special for her A&E docu-series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.

When THR asked Leah if she would congratulate Elisabeth if she won, she replied: 'I would, of course.'

She went on to add some criticism, however, by hitting out at the church: 'I don't hold anything against Elisabeth Moss other than she's continuing to support a group that is abusive and destroying families….That's for her to learn — just as I needed to learn it.'

Moss was raised as a Scientologist and in 2013 said that it gave her stability and empowerment and helped her learn to respect herself.

When asked about her support in 2014, however, Moss would not answer questions about the religion.

Over the weekend, Leah won Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming at the 33rd Annual Television Critics Association Awards.

The docuseries, which has a second season premiering next week, chronicles the stories of ex-Scientologists like Remini who have been cut off from their families and targeted by the religion after leaving the church. 

Ellen Thompson, who, according to her Twitter account, attended the awards, tweeted out that Elisabeth Moss, who also attended, left the room when Leah won for her series. 

'Scientologist Elisabeth Moss left the room while Leah Remini accepted her TCA award. Hope she still heard what Leah said,' she tweeted.

'I spent most of my life being told the world outside Scientology would fail me, that I would fail, and that without it I wasn't worth a whole lot,' Leah said as she accepted her award. 'I thank you for proving those theories wrong.'

The second season of Remini's docu-series will shine light on 'all of the abusive practices of Scientology - sexual and physical abuse', the actress said.

She said she hopes the second series will prompt an FBI investigation into the religion.

Previously a spokesperson for the Church Of Scientology gave DailyMail.com the following statement regarding other comments Remini made to the press: 'Given Leah Remini's insatiable desire for attention, it comes as no surprise that for two years she has been incapable of moving on with her life and remains obsessed with shamelessly exploiting her former religion in a pathetic attempt to get publicity.'
