Audio from the emergency call regarding the plane Troy Gentry was killed in reveals the helicopter had been hovering for several minutes before it crashed. In the tape, obtained by The Blast, a dispatcher can be heard alerting emergency responders in Burlington County, New Jersey about the state of the dire situation. Police received a call around 1pm saying the helicopter was in distress, said Joel Bewley, a spokesman for the Burlington County prosecutor's office.

Cuba is currently bearing the brunt of Hurricane Irma - and the first reports show that the island's north central coast resembles the horrors of other Caribbean islands impacted by the storm. Irma barreled in for a direct hit at Ciego de Avila province around midnight and left Caibairen (pictured main) and most other areas in that region without power. Choppy seas, grey skies, sheets of rain, bending palm trees, huge waves crashing over sea walls and downed power lines filled the state run television's evening newscast on Friday night. Experts have warned that Saturday morning is sure to provide scenes of much greater devastation as Irma works its way along the northern coast westward through Sancti Spiritus and Villa Clara provinces. On Friday Irma momentarily slowed to category four before returning to its prior category five intensity as it scraped over Cuba's north coast (inset center right). It is expected to stay in the area into Saturday before making its way into the central Bahamas. Pictured inset top left and right are scenes of destruction in St Maarten and Tortola where Irma hit earlier this week and left thousands of people stranded and without power or fresh water.

Incredible footage filmed from an airplane flying high in the sky shows the unique and mesmerizing aerial view of Hurricane Irma. The video shows massive-sized clouds shaped in a circular motion showcasing the eye of the powerful Category 5 storm. The 43-second long clip was shared to a Twitter page belonging to Air Force Reserve on Friday afternoon and has already been shared thousands of times.

Megyn Kelly was seen looking emotional outside her Manhattan apartment building on Friday morning. The teenage girl spoke to Inside Edition this week as Weiner awaits sentencing for transferring obscene material to a minor. She is not being named because she is still a minor but her parents gave permission for her face to be shown. The teenager said she was 'disgusted' by the messages she received from Weiner who, at the time, was still living with wife Huma Abedin, one of Hillary Clinton's closest aides.

Internet mogul Corey Thomas (left) spoke publicly about the incident for the first time since War Machine (inset) was sentence to life in prison for the kidnapping and beating of porn star Christy Mack (right). 'He came on top of me and got me in a rear naked choke,' Thomas told Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen, explaining that he thought the fight was over when the professional fighter let him leave.

Kirstjen Nielsen, the deputy to White House chief of staff John Kelly (pictured together, right), has allegedly annoyed the aides of President Donald Trump (left) with her no-nonsense attitude and 'lack of collegiality'. A report by Politico described Kelly's right-hand woman as someone who 'routinely cancels meetings with senior officials if someone shows up late' and 'phone calls often go unreturned', which aides fear could 'squander morale'. Additionally, she reportedly has also failed to establish a personal relationship with Trump.

A man got into an altercation with Secret Service agents after he illegally parked his car at a barricade in front of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's Washington, D.C. home in Kalorama Heights Friday. The unidentified man left his Mercedes Benz in a convenient spot located near a mosque where it appears he went to worship. He initially disregarded the agents' orders to move his vehicle to another location. When he returned, he was stunned to find the agents still waiting for him with a ticket. Agents told the Daily Mail his violation did not warrant being towed away. He was released shortly after.

NFL footballer Antonio Cromartie's wife Terrika has given birth to the star's 14th child - his third since having a vasectomy. The 33-year-old cornerback, who has scored six touchdowns in his career, has now fathered three children since undergoing the snip. He and his wife welcomed a girl named Jhett Paxton on August 30.

Sinead O'Connor opened up in a heartbreaking new interview with Dr. Phil about her thoughts on her reputation and dark past. The Grammy-winning Irish singer revealed in the preview clip released Thursday: 'I a fed up of being defined as the crazy person; the child abuse survivor.' O'Connor lost her mother in a car crash at the young age of 19. She remembered her as a violent, tormented woman who enjoyed inflicting pain upon her.

A crane tipped over and crashed into an Atlanta home Thursday while residents were inside. Operators were using the machinery to remove an oak tree from a backyard in Brookhaven. Andy and Suzanne Williams, who were inside the home at the time, were able to escape and no one was injured, but their home completely destroyed.

William Devin Howell, 47 (left), a drifter accused of killing seven people in Connecticut in 2003, pleaded guilty to six of the slayings in New Britain Superior Court on Friday. He is accused of murdering the victims while driving a van he called the 'murder mobile' (right). Howell was already serving a sentence for the death of one victim. The guilty pleas on Friday confirmed that Howell is the most prolific serial killer in Connecticut history. Owen Shroyer, a host for the site run by far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, approached the girl at a pro-immigration rally in Austin, Texas, last week, and in a video from the event, it sounds like he is asking her: 'How are you young man?' 'Um, you’re a f**king idiot,' the girl responds, much to the delight of Infowars critics. Shroyer later claimed on Twitter that he called the girl 'young ma'am' and she was the one who had approached him.

Dance Moms competitor Maesi Caes just wrapped up a competition performance in Las Vegas when she saw a group of street dancers in a hype circle. The 12-year-old dived right in for a street dance battle. The young dancer strut her stuff, all while still wearing the same white frock and hair updo from her earlier performance at the Sheer Talent competition.

Carrie DeKlyen, 37, chose to forgo cancer treatment to have her daughter, Life. She has terminal brain cancer. The cancer caused a stroke that left the Michigan mom unconscious before she had her baby. Life is currently stable and expected to stay at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor for the next four to five months to help her grow and breathe on her own. Carrie has been removed of all breathing and feeding tubes as doctors prepare for her to die.

Olivia Jade (pictured left and right), 17, revealed in a new video on Thursday how she lost 'a lot of friends' when her channel, on which she now has 998,000 subscribers, started gaining attention. Before Olivia started her YouTube channel three years ago, she had a 'really close' group of friends, which she believed was indestructible.'The second I started my channel and it started to get out there and whatnot, those friends really left,' she said. Olivia, the daughter of Loughlin (pictured inset with her), who played Becky on Full House, and of fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, recounted going to parties and seeing other teenagers blast her videos in front of her.

The company introduced its eight new Mouseketeers (top and bottom right), whose ages range from 15 to 18 years old, on Facebook and Instagram today. Sean Oliu, 15, Brianna Mazzola, 16, Leanne Tessa, 17, Will Simmons, 17, Ky Baldwin, 16, Jenna Alvarez, 15, Regan Aliyah, 18, and Gabe de Guzman, 16, are set to star in the program, which will be called Club Mickey Mouse and run for seven weeks on social media only. The new Club Mickey Mouse will consist of more than an hour of video a week, spread across about 70 pieces of content in that time frame. Each week, the Mouseketeers will create their own songs and dances, and will star in a new music video weekly along with a musical performance. The original franchise (left) launched the careers of megastars such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

A sphinx cat was filmed by its owner throwing punches at its feline friend with lightning-quick reactions in Russia. The two moggies can be seen swiping at each other slowly and warily before they burst into a furious round of boxing - as their owner giggles from behind the camera. The feline on the left certainly comes out on top, landing several punches squarely in its opponent's face.

A stunning video shows a man trying the swing in Banos de Tungurahua, Ecuador. The instructor at the platform tells riders to shout as they fly through the air so that they don't experience any chest pain. The floor drops out from under the man and he swings out over the mountains as his two daughters cheer him on. The swing is the highest in South America, located at Casa de Arbol which costs $2 to enter.
