Princess Eugenie has shared a sweet throwback snap of her and older sister Princess Beatrice with their dad Prince Andrew to mark Father's Day.

Eugenie, 28, posted a cute black-and-white picture showing her and Beatrice, now 29, giving their father a peck on the cheek.

In the snap - believed to have been taken in around 1993 - she and her sister are both wearing matching collared dresses and bows in their hair.

A young Eugenie, thought to be about three at the time, can be seen giving her father a kiss, while Beatrice, who was about four at the time, looks up at her father, about to do the same.

Proud dad Prince Andrew, now 58, meanwhile, is seen giving a wide smile as he looks at the camera.

Bride-to-be Eugenie, who announced her engagement to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank in January, simply captioned the picture: 'Happy Father's Day!'

The photograph may have been taken by Eugenie and Beatrice's mother Sarah Ferguson, who separated from Andrew in 1992.

It comes after Eugenie shared a behind-the-scenes snap of Prince Andrew in his military uniform at Buckingham Palace, following Trooping the Colour just over a week ago.

Sharing the picture, Eugenie wrote: 'A wonderful and proud day celebrating Her Majesty’s birthday and @hrhthedukeofyork for his first Trooping the Colour as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. #troopingthecolour '

The traditional ceremony saw the Duke of York ride out on the mall for the first time in full regalia and bearskins, alongside the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and Princess Anne.

In the picture, Andrew looked smart in his regimental uniform as he posed in a corridor adorned with busts, paintings and huge free-standing urns.

However, the picture is believed to have raised eyebrows among royal officials, as the photograph was taken in a private area of Buckingham Palace that is not open to the public.

While the Queen and other members of the royal family have social media accounts run for them by their PR teams, no other senior royal has made their personal Instagram account visible to the public.

The Duchess of Sussex was forced to close down her Twitter and Instagram feeds before she married to prevent her being accused of invading her own privacy.

Eugenie has been regularly posting on her public Instagram account since joining the social media site in March.

She has posted several ‘throwback’ photos showing her and sister Beatrice as children with their parents when they were younger, often with amusing captions.

On Saturday, she posted a picture of herself wearing a hat with the word 'Love' on it, while at a Buckingham Palace garden party. She captioned the photograph: 'Let’s put more love in the world...'

Eugenie is set to marry Jack Brooksbank, 31, in October at St George's Chapel, the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan tied the knot.

Both she and Beatrice opted for elegant blue ensembles as they attended the royal wedding last month, along with father Prince Andrew, and mother Sarah Ferguson.
