Love Island: Zara insists she'll wait for Adam and hopes lothario will stay faithful as she's booted out the villa in shock eviction

Zara became the latest casualty of the Love Island villa on Wednesday night when she was booted off the show after a shock vote from the male islanders.

The stunning brunette was chosen to leave after the public vote saw four couples saved and left in charge of who went.

Dani and Jack, Samira and Sam, Georgia and Josh and Laura and Wes were split into boys and girls, with the boys choosing Zara to go and the girls picking Eyal.

Zara has had a short but headline-grabbing stay in the Mallorca villa, coupling up with the villa villain Adam last week after his shock dumping of Rosie.

Despite knowing personal trainer Adam for just a matter of days, Zara told MailOnline after her exit that she hopes the lothario will stay faithful to her during the rest of his stay.

'We left things on a really positive note,' the government adviser insists. 'It's devastating that I’ve left and he’s stayed.'

'I'm going to wait for him on the outside. I'm not disappointed I've left the villa, I'm disappointed to leave Adam.'

'We have such an amazing connection. I'm going to wait for him on the outside and look forward to seeing him. I think I succeeded in finding love.'

Zara admitted it's up to Adam as to whether he moves on with another girl, but she has high hopes for their brief romance to go the distance.

'It's his decision whether he stays true to me or not and it’s a test for the both of us to see if he does stay faithful. I’m excited to see him when he gets out and see where it goes,' she explained.

'We had an amazing time getting to know one another. Last night things were just getting better and better. We are both aware of how we feel about each other and want to carry it on outside the villa, I just wish had could have come with me,' she adds.

Of her eviction by the boys, Zara insisted it's unfair that they chose her for the reason that she hasn't bonded with the girls.

'I hadn’t spent as much time with the boys as Ellie had because Ellie still hadn’t found her perfect match and I had found Adam,' Zara says of her villa pal.

'Love Island is about finding someone to fall in love with. It was very unfair for the boys to vote me out for those reasons.'

Zara failed to bond with the girls, especially after coupling with Adam, who was previously paired with Rosie. Despite their acrimonious history, Zara insists she'd love to get to know Rosie, who was dumped from the villa over the weekend.

'Rosie and I ironed things out. I am open to being friends with Rosie,' insistedZara.
