Love Island SPOILER: Laura apologises for calling Megan a 's**g' but snubs Wes as he attempts to make amends after shock dumping

Tuesday's episode of Love Island was the most shocking yet as Wes dumped Laura to pursue glamour model Megan.

And the fallout continues on Wednesday's installment of the hit ITV2 show, as Laura comes face to face with Megan.

After an emotional conversation with Wes on Tuesday night's show, a furious Laura stormed off, calling Megan a 's**g' as she left, but a few hours later the 29-year-old air hostess seeks out her love rival to apologise.

Say what you mean in Megan's slogan crop top

It all kicked off in last night's episode of Love Island. Megan and Eyal are a thing of the past and now she's making her move on Wes! Where does that leave Laura?

Megan made it very clear she wasn't going to let anything stand in her way by wearing this slogan crop top, which says 'Suck It Up' with a little buttercup motif underneath. Harsh but cute!

It's by New Girl Order and Topshop and if you fancy stealing Megan's style then click (right) to buy it now. We love the high neck and sleeveless cut, which makes it a bit more flattering than your usual baggy slogan tee.

Alternatively, take a look at the statement options we've got lined up for you in the edit below. Topshop's 'Follow Your Dreams' top is our favourite.

'This is really, really difficult for me. I can't call you names,' Laura tells Megan, 24. 'I don't want to be mean to you. Nothing is your fault.'

'I don't want to call you a s***. I should never have said that to you. You're not a s***. That's completely uncalled for. So I 100% take that back.

Laura then goes on to outline how Wes' behaviour has caught her completely off guard:

'It's just I thought me and Wes were great, he's been so attentive and so sweet to me all day. He's lying in bed with me last night looking me in the eyes telling me how happy he is, how much he's into me, how great everything is.'

''Obviously you told me you get on. He told me he thought you were attractive but he told me he didn't fancy you. So I am just really, really shocked today.'

Megan makes an attempt to explain herself, telling Laura she felt 'awkward' after kissing Wes in the Snog, Marry, Pied challenge earlier. But Laura isn't impressed asking her why she didn't approach her then, before asking Meg how long she's had feelings for Wes.

Talking it out: 'This is really, really difficult for me. I can't call you names,' Laura tells Megan, 24. 'I don't want to be mean to you. Nothing is your fault'

'Literally, it's been two days. We've never spoke until earlier and I took him to the terrace and we spoke,' insists Megan. 'I do think girl to girl I should have spoken to you first but obviously I don't want to come to you and be like 'I fancy your guy, I'm going to go speak to him'.'

With emotions running high and with her life in the villa turned upside down, Laura is unsure how to move forward:

'I just feel like I just wanna go. I'm going to get up in the morning and watch you two crack on together. It's a joke. I just feel like I've lost a friendship and a guy in the same night. And I look like a mug.'

'I'm just sad because I feel like it's going to be awkward with me and you. I don't feel like I can be friends with you. I just wanted to apologise for saying what I said because it's not what I feel. I'm just sad because I feel like our friendship is over.'

While Laura talked some things out with Megan, she has no time for Wes after later in the evening her ex and his new girl opt to spend the night on the beds in the garden.

As they walk outside, in full view of the rest of the Islanders, a stunned Laura proclaims: 'They're actually sleeping outside together.'

Seemingly happy with his choice, Megan looked extremely happy with herself as she and Wes stalked to stay in the outside beds - away from their current partners Laura and Eyal - before cuddling up and locking lips under the covers.

The following morning, when Jack ventures outside to prepare breakfast, he spots an intimate moment between Wes and Megan.

Explaining all in the Beach Hut, he reveals: 'I've walked out there to make the tea, and I didn't expect that. Staring out into the sunrise, back tickling. You just don't do it like that. At least wait a couple of days. Wait a day, at least.'

As Laura awakens and admits she's 'still in shock', she too walks outside while Wes and Megan remain together on the beds.

Wes decides it's best to apologise to Laura, although as he wonders over, she tells Jack and Dani: 'I don't want to speak to him. I'm not speaking to him.'

Wes' efforts to clear the air are not met with a pleasant reaction from Laura: Wes - 'Laura, can I have a chat with you please.'

Laura replied:  'I don't want to sorry.' 'I wanted to say sorry for last night. It was bang out of order what I did,' Wes attempts only for Laura to snap: 'Why did you do it then?'

'This is what I'm saying, it's a mistake. I didn't mean it to come across cold, malicious like that,' he says.  'What, sleeping in a bed with Megan?' questions his ex.

'That's what I'm saying, it was a mistake. I should not have done it so soon. I'm really sorry for it.' Laura stands her ground though, telling him: 'I don't forgive you.'

With Laura in no mood for forgiveness, she's also indifferent when Megan makes an attempt to say sorry, telling the Beach Hut:

'I knew it wasn't going to be a heartfelt, sincere apology because she doesn't think she's done anything wrong...I'm not going to thank her, I'm not going to accept the apology, the same as I didn't accept Wes' apology.'

'Because both of them would do the same thing again, so they don't think that they're in the wrong. I just don't see the point apologising, it's not real.'

Away from the blossoming romance, Laura is seen sobbing to her pals, including Samira and Dani, as she wept in their arms.

Laura reflected on the moment Wes said he was 'falling for her' earlier in the series, as she claimed he had made a fool of her with his dramatic profession.

Oh dear.. After making her move the evening before, Megan had got her way as Wes emotionally ditched Laura before making his feelings known - leading to Megan thanking him for taking 'a huge risk' on her

Speaking to her pals, she said: 'He told me this is the best first time in a relationship he's ever had. I knew in my heart this is not the best start of a friendship I've ever had but when someone says that to you, I'm trying to give him a chance.

'I'm not lying, I'm not being fake but he's the only person in here that I fancy so obviously I'm gonna go for it like I don't know what else to do it's just embarrassing.

'I really, really, really liked him and do you know what I was so close to saying back to him that I was falling for him. I just don't understand.'

Who cares? The couple did not seem in any way perturbed by their shocking romance

The previous evening, viewers were left in a fury when Eyal accused Megan of using him for sex following his unceremonious dumping on the show.

The male model was left devastated when the former exotic dancer ditched him due to her feelings for Wes, yet Eyal pointed out that after their various romantic dalliances he felt as though he had been objectified by Megan.

Fans soon swarmed Twitter to throw their support behind Eyal, as they insisted if a male contestant on the show had behaved in the same fashion there would be 'so much more uproar' - particularly given the treatment of love rat Adam Collard.

Megan and Eyal hooked up following her late entry into the show and became the first couple to become intimate after a night in the Hideaway.

Following their night of passion, the couple confessed their union had become entirely about sex and they felt their romance was falling flat with their chat.

On Tuesday night's episode, Megan revealed she had decided to end things with Eyal to pursue a romance with Wes - who was taken by Laura at this point.

A raging Eyal confessed to his pals that he felt he had been 'used' by Megan, which led to mass support from fans who pointed out if a male had behaved in the same fashion fury would erupt - sparking a debate about equality
