Tyra Banks makes $1.5m profit selling Pacific Palisades home for $9.25m two years after buying it
Tyra Banks has banked 1.5million profit on the sale of a house just two years after buying it.
The model and TV personality sold her ocean-view Pacific Palisades home for the $9.25million, having paid $7.35million for it in 2016.
The America's Next Top Model host - who is believed to have bought a neighbouring home for $7million in March - listed the five-bedroom cliff-top house in May.

The very modern charcoal-coloured house, with half an acre of grounds, sits on cliffs with unobstructed ocean and mountain views.
With lookout points and balconies situated all the way around the perimeter and spread over three levels, the property was clearly built for entertaining.
Outside, a built-in fire pit is perfect for sunset drinks while an outdoor cooking area and pizza oven create the perfect opportunity for enjoying the Californian sun.
Money maker: She reportedly bought the property for $7.35 million in 2016
Fit for a model: The America's Next Top Model beauty has plenty of wardrobe space for fashionistas
Views: The home has incredible views of the Pacific Palisades area in California
Glorious: The living space is vast and beautifully decorated with the focus on the amazing views
The property is also surrounded by plush green grounds and a tranquil waterfall that reinforces the natural aspect of the home.
Indoors, the spacious three-level 6,135 square-foot house features high ceilings, a home cinema, an office, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The decor is neutral though it's clear that Tyra has never lived here herself for any stretch of time, because the home was purchased as an 'investment property,' it is understood.
Multi-level: The property is split over two levels with high ceilings and a wooden staircase
Welcoming: The cosy living space features five bedrooms and six bathrooms for a number of guests
Home: Some of the guest bedrooms even feature their own personal balconies
Expansive: The guest bathrooms are not your average size either, with some kitted out with jacuzzis
And it turned out to be quite an investment, after soaring $2million in value in the short space of two years.
Tyra is perhaps looking to offload the property, after purchasing a similar near-by Californian home two months ago.
The 6,200-square-foot hillside mansion was reportedly built in 2014 with the added advantages of a wine cellar, a gym, a zero-edge pool and a hot tub.

It is understood that Tyra bought a California home for $3.23 million in 2014, she then bought the Pacific Palisades home and in July 2017, scooped up another $1.36million investment property.
She also owns a 7,000-square-foot Manhattan duplex in Battery Park City that she purchased in 2009 for $10.13 million.
Tyra also bought a New York home to live in during her time filming ANTM earlier this year.
She bought in The Battery Park neighborhood for $17.5million, but she spends more time in Los Angeles on the West Coast.
Views for days: The calming sea views are something to marvel at from this beautiful sun deck
A calming spot: With a fire pit built into the grounds of the property, the outdoor space was designed for entertaining
